IT Show 2018 - It's time to "hoot" some gadgets!

Happening from today March 15 to 18 at Suntec Singapore Levels 3, 4, and 6, IT Show is the place to be at if you want to fulfill your home entertainment, lifestyle electronics, office equipment, and travel technology shopping needs. Like last year, doors open from 11am for Level 3, and 12pm for Level 4 and 6 until 9pm each day. Admission is free.

Apple

ASUS

The ASUS ZenFone 4 has a 5.5-inch Full-HD Super IPS+ display, Android 7.0 with ZenUI 4.0, USB Type-C 3.1, dual speakers, a 3,300mAh battery and a hybrid SIM and memory card slot. It has a dual-camera setup on the rear that pairs a 12-megapixel f/1.8 lens with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 120 degree field of view. Google

Google's flagship smartphone is available on contract exclusively with Singtel. The 6-inch Pixel 2 XL boasts an 18:9 aspect ratio pOLED QHD+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. And of course, it runs on pure Android 8.0 Oreo. Get one from Singtel's booth at the IT Show for S$498 on Combo 3 (S$68.90/month).

Huawei

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a 6-inch phone has a FullView OLED HDR display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ 2,160 x 1,080 pixels resolution. Powering the Mate 10 Pro is a unique, proprietary chipset built by Huawei - the Kirin 970 with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that offloads all A.I.-related tasks to itself, taking the strain off the CPU and GPU. The phone also has a dual rear camera system engineered by German camera maestros Leica. Get one at the IT Show for S$1,098.

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite launches today at the IT Show and is one of the first entry-level smartphones with a bezel-less display, boasting a 5.99-inch 18:9 aspect ratio FullView Display with a Full HD resolution. On the rear of the device, there's a dual camera setup that pairs a 13-megapixel lens with a 2-megapixel lens. The Nova 2 Lite also sports a Face Unlock feature that can automatically detect up to 1,024 points on the human face and perform high-accuracy mapping. Huawei claims that Face Unlock will let users unlock their screens in less than 900 milliseconds. Get one at the IT Show for just S$298!

Lenovo

The Lenovo P2 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a Full HD Super AMOLED display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. It has a massive 5,100mAh battery and supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology. Get it at the IT Show for just S$349 (usual price S$899).

LG

The LG V30+ has practically everything you would want in a smartphone: a bezel-less design, a 6-inch OLED QHD display, a dual rear-camera setup, IP68 build, wireless charging, MicroSD expandable storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4G LTE Cat16 compatibility, and a headphone jack - and it's a good one too, thanks to a built-in audiophile-level Quad DAC. Get one at the IT Show at StarHub's booth for S$249 when you sign up for a 2-year M plan (S$88/month).

Oppo

The Oppo R11s offers great value thanks to its 6.01-inch 18:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display, and dual rear camera setup that pairs a primary 16-megapixel f/1.7 lens and a secondary 20-megapixel f/2.6 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Get one from the IT Show at StarHub's booth for just S$79 when you sign up for a two-year S plan (S$34/month) or buy one from Oppo's booth for S$699.

Motorola

The Moto Z2 Play uses the same modular design as the original Moto Z Play but in a slimmer and lighter metallic body. The Z2 Play also sports a new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor. All Moto Mods that worked with the previous Z Play are compatible with the Z2 Play. Pick one up at the IT Show for just S$699 (usual price S$1,399).

Razer

The Razer Phone is built for gamers and boasts a Sharp 120Hz UltraMotion display with adaptive refresh rate technology that synchronizes the GPU’s output with the display to reduce screen tearing and lag, based off Qualcomm’s Q-Sync technology. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and boasts a whopping 8GB RAM. Get one from Singtel's booth at the IT Show for S$198 when you sign up for a two-year Combo 3 plan (S$68.90/month).

Samsung

The brand new Samsung Galaxy S9+ will be available at the IT Show on Friday, 16th March. The S9+ boasts a new dual aperture rear camera that switches between f/1.5 and f/2.4 depending on your lighting conditions. For the first time on the S-series, the S9+ also has a secondary 12-megapixel, f/2.4 camera, letting you take gorgeous portrait photos with artistic background blurring bokeh. The Epson EH-TW5650 is a full HD home theater projector with a brightness rating for 2,500 lumens. Going for $1,588 and you get free $250 NTUC vouchers, two pairs of 3D glasses, a RAVPower fast wireless Qi charger, and a trolley.

Philips

The 55-inch Philips 901F 4K OLED TV features Ambilight (basically LED lights that produce halos of colors around the TV), runs the Android TV platform, and plays nice with HDR. Going for just $2,699 and comes with free wall mount.

This Philips 65PFT5250 is a 65-inch full HD TV with three HDMI inputs. For just $1,299, Courts is also throwing in an Android hub, wall mount, digital antenna, HDMI cable, and a 3-year warranty.

Samsung

The 55-inch Samsung MU6300 is a 4K UHD curved TV featuring Samsung’s HDR Pro tech for enhanced contrast and a remote control that can be configured to control your other A/V devices. Free gifts you get include a 40-inch TV and 3 months of Singtel Cast Weekend Goals Pack. If you don’t want the free TV, you can trade it in to get the MU6300 for just $1,349.

The MU8000 is a curved 4K HDR LED TV, and it can go up to 1,000 nits in brightness. It has four HDMI ports, three USB ports, and the stand is thoughtfully designed to hide your wires. The Samsung Q8C is one of Samsung’s flagship 4K TVs in 2017. The curved TV uses QLED technology to achieve high brightness and deep colors for HDR, and it has a smart remote that can control multiple devices. It also reduces cable clutter thanks to a thin, near-invisible fiber optics cable. Free gifts at this show include a 55-inch TV and 6 months of Singtel Cast Weekend Goals Pack; but if you don’t want them, you can get the TV for as low as $4,999 (65-inch) and $2,849 (55-inch).

Sony

The Bravia A1 is Sony’s first large-screen 4K HDR TV to use OLED technology. Not only does the picture look good, the design also stands out. For example, thanks to the Acoustic Surface audio system, you won’t see any speakers on the TV. Available here for $6,899 for the 55-inch model, $9,499 for the 65-inch model, and $29,999 for the 77-inch model after cashback, and each comes with free delivery and installation and a PS4 FIFA 18 bundle worth $479.

If you need a really big 4K TV, Sony has its 75-inch Bravia X8500E going for $5,299 after cashback (U.P: $8,999). Running Android TV, this beautiful TV also supports 4K HDR and features clever cable management to hide the wires.

If you only need a full HD TV, the W800F is going on sale here for $1,399 (49-inch) and $1,049 (43-inch). The TV is powered by Android TV, which means you’ve no shortage of movies, music, photos, games, and apps; and with Chromecast built-in, you can easily send content from your smartphone or tablet to the TV.

Acer

The new Predator X34P is a 34-inch, 3,440 x 1,440-pixel curved gaming monitor. It’s a 4ms response time and a 100Hz refresh rate (overclockable to 120Hz), and supports NVIDIA’s G-Sync tech for smooth gaming visuals. It has built-in 7W x 2 speakers and even a USB 3.0 hub. Going for $1,298 (U.P: $1,498).

The 27-inch XB272 is a full HD gaming monitor that touts a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It sports HDMI, DisplayPort connectivity, and has a integrated 4-port USB 3.0 hub. Going for $748 at the show (U.P: $898).

AOC

The AOC AG271QG is a 27-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel IPS display that supports NVIDIA G-Sync, a fast 165Hz refresh rate, with inputs like HDMI and DisplayPort. Going for $1,099 (down from the usual $1,399), and comes with a free DisplayPort cable.

The AOC AG322FCX is a 31.5-inch, full HD curved gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a response time of 4ms, supports AMD FreeSync, and works over VGA, dual-link DVI, HDMI, as well as DisplayPort. Going for $599 (U.P: $699).

ASUS

The ROG Swift PG258Q is a 24.5-inch full HD gaming monitor with a native 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, and USB 3.0 (two of them). This NVIDIA G-Sync-capable monitor is going for $969 here, and you get a free pair of Pacific Rim movie tickets.

The ROG Swift PG348Q is a 34-inch curved gaming monitor with a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel IPS panel. Because of its IPS panel, it “only” has a 100Hz refresh rate, but it does support NVIDIA G-Sync. It has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, as well as built-in speakers. Going for $1,625 (U.P: $1,759), and you get a free pair of Pacific Rim movie tickets.

The MX34VQ is a 34-inch WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) curved monitor with a 4ms response time and 300 nits brightness. This IPS monitor has three HDMI inputs, one DisplayPort input, integrated 8W Harman Kardon speakers, and even a Qi wireless charging pad embedded at the base. Going for $1,529 here, and you get a free pair of Pacific Rim movie tickets.

Dell

The U2417H is a 24-inch full HD monitor with very thin bezels. It supports DisplayPort/mini-DisplayPort and HDMI, and comes with 3 years of advanced exchange service warranty. Going for $359, and you get free $60 shopping vouchers.

The 23-inch S2318H uses a 1080p panel, supports HDMI and VGA video inputs, and comes with a 3-year advanced exchange warranty. Going for just $179 at this show.

The Dell U2717D is a 27-inch QHD monitor (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) that supports DisplayPort/mini-DisplayPort, HDMI, and MHL connectivity. Going for $739 and comes with free $30 shopping vouchers.

Lenovo

This Lenovo ThinkVision P27u-10 is a 27-inch 4K monitor that supports USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort. Going for $999 at the show.

Lenovo’s Y series is the company’s range of gaming monitors. For example, this is the Y25f-10, a 24.5-inch full HD monitor with support for 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync. It’s selling for $399 at the show.

LG

The new LG 32GK850G is a 32-inch QHD (3,440 x 1,440) monitor that supports NVIDIA G-Sync and a 144Hz refresh rate. LG’s gaming-oriented features such as Black Stabilizer, DAS, and Crosshair are also onboard, and as well support for DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 connectivity. Going for $1,399, and you get a free Iris optical gaming mouse.

The new 27GK750F is a 27-inch full HD monitor that boasts a 240Hz refresh rate. It supports AMD FreeSync, as plays nice with DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0. LG’s Black Stabilizer, DAS, and Crosshair features are also present to give you an advantage during gaming. Going for $899, and you get a free Iris optical gaming mouse worth $89.

The LG 27UD58 is a 27-inch 4K monitor that supports AMD FreeSync. Sporting 10-bit color support as well as HDMI and DisplayPort conenctivity options, you can pick one up at the show for $649 (U.P: $749), and it comes with a free LG pocket printer worth $169.

Philips

Philips’ new E series of full HD monitors features a SoftBlue technology to protect your eyes and delivery brilliant colors. Available in 21.5, 23, and 27-inch screen sizes, you can find them at this show going for $199, $239, and $319 respectively. Other noteworthy features include built-in speakers, a 5ms response time, and VGA, DVI, and HDMI (MHL-enabled) connectivity.

This Philips 349X7FJEW is a 34-inch curved monitor with a 100Hz refresh rate and 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution. It supports both HDMI 1.4 and 2.0, as well as DisplayPort 2.0, and has a built-in USB 3.0 hub. Going for $1,399 (U.P: $1,499), and you get a free DisplayPort cable.

Prism+

The Prism+ X340 is a 34-inch curved gaming monitor with a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution. It supports up to 144Hz refresh rate (at 2,560 x 1,080) and the panel touts 100% sRGB coverage. Going for $799 (U.P: $1,268).

The X315 Pro is a 31.5-inch curved monitor that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, just like the non-Pro X315. The main difference is that the X315 Pro has a QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) whereas the regular X315 is a 1080p monitor. Price-wise, they’re going for $599 and $450 respectively.

The Prism+ W270 is a 27-inch QHD monitor that’s also able to cover 100% of the sRGB color space. The panel has a 60Hz refresh rate, and the monitor supports HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort connectivity. Going for just $375 (U.P: 499).

Samsung

The Samsung C49HG90 is this giant (and long) 49-inch monitor with a 3,840 x 1,080-pixel resolution. It uses quantum dot technology for rich colors, has a refresh rate of 144Hz, and comes with a height-adjustable stand. Going for $1,998.

The Samsung U32H850 is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor enhanced with quantum dot technology. It has two HDMI and one DisplayPort video inputs, a 4ms response time, and comes with a height-adjustable stand. Going for $988.

The C32HG70 is a 31.5-inch QLED curved gaming monitor with a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution. It has a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, supports AMD FreeSync, and has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. Going for $1,098 (U.P: $1,299).

ViewSonic

The ViewSonic XG2701 is a 27-inch full HD gaming monitor that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and AMD’s FreeSync tech for smooth gaming. It comes with an ergonomic stand that features an integrated headphone hook. Stocks are only coming in later this month (hence the product image), but you can pre-order now at the show for $499 (U.P: $599).

Audio Technica

If you’re looking for a new set of headphones with noise-cancelling features, pop by the Audio Technica booth and check out the ATH-WS990BT. This features 53mm Deep Motion drivers for rich sound with full bass, and a hear-through function so you won’t have to take off your headphones to hear what’s going on around you. It’s going for a show special of $298, down $40 from the usual of $338, and you’ll get a $20 GRAB voucher thrown in too!

Otherwise, check out the ATH-ANC700BT, this has a foldable design for easy travel, Quietpoint active noise-cancelling technologies and Bluetooth wireless capabilities. There are also touch and swipe controls built-in, so you can control music playback without pulling out your phone. It’s going for $238 at the show, down $30 from the usual of $268 and there’s also a $20 GRAB voucher thrown in.

Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen is making an appearance at this show too, and they’ve got the BeoLit 17 wireless speaker on sale. Get it for a show special of $679, down $70 from the usual of $749. Not a bad price for this stylish wireless speaker that offers 360o audio and up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge.

The Beoplay H4 Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone is also on offer. This is going for $359, some $40 off from the usual price of $399. A pretty good price for these wireless headphones that use 40mm electro-dynamic drivers and give you up to 19 hours of wireless playback. 

Bose 

Bose has the QuietComfort QC35 II at the show, and it’s going for a show special of just $476, down $53 from the usual price of $529. QuietComfort headphones have always been among the best in noise-canceling, so this is a great chance to pick up a pair.

Also worth looking for, is their SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker. This 360o speaker is designed with a handle to make it easy to carry around, and is water-resistant too, so you can even use it in the rain. Get it for about $40 off at the show, paying just $413 instead of the usual of $459. 

Erato

Erato has their latest Verse true wireless earbuds at the show, and they’re going for a $224, a slight discount of $25 from the usual price of $249 at the show. Not too bad for these headphones with a 15 hour battery life and graphene drivers for extraordinary sound quality.

Also seen at IT Show 2018, is the Muse 5. This is $60 off at this show, so you can now get them for $299 instead of the usual of $359.That’s a good price for these wireless earbuds that offer four hours of battery life on a single charge. To read more, click here for our review.

Jabra

Jabra has good deals at the show too, as their recently relaunched Elite Sport is available at a promotional price of $298, down $70 from the usual of $368. What’s more, you’ll get a free Jabra sports towel and a pair of GV movie passes.  Not too shabby for true wireless earbuds that will easily take you through your workout with their 4.5 hour battery life.

If true wireless earbuds aren’t your thing, take a look at the Jabra Sport Pace wireless in-ear headphones. These are going for just $98 at the show, down $70 from the usual of $168. Plus, you’ll get a Jabra Sport towel and Jabra Sport wristband thrown in for free!

Jaybird

Jaybird is also at the show, and their wireless earbuds are going for $250, down $49 from the usual of $299. These true wireless earbuds are sweatproof and water resistant. They also last up to four hours on a single charge so you can easily complete a run with them.

Also on sale are the Jaybird Freedom 2 headphones. As you can see, these are going for $200, down $39 from the usual price of $239. These are also sweat-proof and water resistant, and feature Jaybird's SpeedFit cord management system so you get a perfect fit every time.

There's also a lucky draw running on the Jaybird website, where every purchase gives you a chance to win a fitness product. Items range from a Garmin Forerunner fitness tracker to a set of 2XU tights, so do jump on the website to register if you make a purchase.

JBL 

JBL is also at the show, and they’ve got the Charge 3 for sale at $228. That’s $50 down from the usual price of $279,  That’s a pretty good for this wireless speaker that features a IPX7 waterproof rating and 6000mAh battery that’s good for 20 hours of playback. You'll get a free JBL JR300 kids headphone thrown in too!

For something smaller, look for the JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth Speaker. This is also IPX7 waterproof rated, but it comes with a handy clip that, as its name implies, lets you clip it to a bag or bicycle to easily transport with you. It’s down $40 at the show, going for just $59 instead of the usual $99. 

Klipsch

If gaming headsets are what you're looking for, Razer has the Kraken 7.1v2 on sale at the show. As the name implies, this USB digital headset features virtual 7.1 surround sound so you'll always know where the enemy is coming from. It's going for just $129.90, down $30 from the usual of $159.90.

If in-ear headphones are more your thing, check out the Hammerhead Pro. The V2 version here is going for $99.90, down $25 from the usual price of $124.90. If you're an iOS user, the deal gets even better, as the Hammerhead Mercury for iOS is also going for $99.90, $60 down from the usual price of $159.90.

Samsung

Samsung is also at the show, and they've got the Gear Icon X on offer for $218, with a free LED runner belt pouch thrown in (worth $39). Not bad for these true wireless earbuds that normally go for $268. These have 4GB of onboard storage so you won't even need your phone to get music.

Otherwise, do take a look at their sound bars too. As this picture indicates, buy any Samsung TV and you'll get an additional 40% off show prices.

For example, check out the HW-MS6501/XS here. This curved sound bar is going for just $549 at the show, and that goes down even more to $449 if you get it with a TV. Not bad for this three channel sound bar with distortion canceling technology. At least $350 savings!

The HW-K850/XS is also a worthy buy, and this can be had for as low as $899 if you purchase it with a television at the show. Even the regular discount is a good buy, as that's $1049, a good $550 savings from the regular price!

Sennheiser

Sennheiser is also at the show, and they've got the premium Game Zero gaming headset on offer for just $299, down $70 from the usual price of $369. Gamers, Steelseries is at IT Show2018 with some cool deals. For example, the Arctis 3 is going for $159, with a free limited edition Arctis headband and an acrylic headset stand thrown in. (While stocks last) This has virtual 7.1 surround sound capabilities, so you'll really feel like you're in the thick of the action.

Sonos

Sonos is also at the show, and they’ve got their latest Sonos One smart home speaker up for sale. This streams music over both Bluetooth and Wireless, and can be used with other Sonos speakers wirelessly to complete your multi-room setup. Buy a pair for $638 instead of the usual price of $658. 

Also on offer, is the Play:1 bookshelf speaker. This is being sold as a pair for just $498, down almost 40% from the usual price of $798. Pretty good deal if you ask us, as the tiny speaker plays sound well above its size, and streams over Wi-Fi for a more stable connection.

Now here’s a great deal. The MDR-1ADAC is unique in that it has a built-in DAC (complete with internal battery) that taps on a S-Master HX digital amplifier to reduce distortion and noise across all frequency range. It's going for $299 at the show, $200 off the original price of $499!

The HT-MT300 soundbar is also on sale at the show, and it’s going for $449, down $150 (after cashback) from the usual price of $599. Not a bad price for this compact sound bar and woofer combination that features a Sofa Mode for optimal sound even if you place the subwoofer under the sofa.

Otherwise, look to the HT-CT800. This has support for 4K and HDR content via HDMI HDCP 2.2, and S-Force Pro Front surround for better surround effects. One of Sony’s Star buys for the show, this is going for $649, down $250 (after cashback) from the usual price of $899.

X-mini

If you’re looking for a very pocketable speaker that still packs a punch, check out the X-mini XOUNDBAR. It measures just 21.5mm thick, but uses custom flat drivers to still deliver quality audio. It’s going for $44.00 at the show instead of the usual $49.90. Get two and you can pair them wirelessly for a true stereo experience!

For something larger, there's always the X-mini Supa. This vintage-looking speaker has a built-in DSP and DAC for better audio, and offers a single swivel dial to control both music and volume. It's going for $188.00 at the show, down about $20 from the usual of $209.90, and you'll get a free 16GB Kingston microSD card thrown in too!

Crucial

If you need a high capacity SSD, the Crucial MX500 is available up to 1TB while the Crucial MX300 is available up to 2TB. The MX300 in 2TB is $709 while the 1TB MX500 is $367.

 

G-Drive

The G-Drive USB is a stylish portable external hard disk that comes in an aluminum chassis. It is available from 2TB up to 10TB. The 2TB model is going for $209 while the 10TB model offers that best value at $509.

If you a speedy external storage drive, consider the LaCie 2big Thunderbolt 2. It supports RAID for reliability or performance and comes withg two Thunderbolt 2 ports. The 12TB version is priced at $999 (U.P $1,159).

If you need a portable external drive for the wild outdoors, the LaCie Rugged Mini is worthy of your consideration. It has a protective bumper and it is splash, crush, and drop resistant. It can even be password protected for extra security. The 500GB version is $69 (U.P $139).

 

Samsung

The Samsung SSD 960 Pro is one of the fastest SSDs you can buy and is available in 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities. The 512GB model is $439 and comes with a 5-port USB charger. The 1TB and 2TB models are and $849 and $1,749 respectively. Both will come with a free SteelSeries Rival 100 mouse.

The Seagate Backup Plus Hub is a desktop drive with an integrated USB hub that has two USB 3.0 ports. The 4TB drive is $169 (U.P $269), while the 6TB and 8TB drives are $229 (U.P $459) and $319 (U.P $499) respectively. All purchases will come with free NTUC vouchers.

The Synology DiskStation DS218j is 2-bay NAS designed for mainstream users. It can do wireless backups and can synchronize files across your devices using Synology's Cloud Station Suite. Transcend

Macs users looking for a fast portable external drive should definitely check out the Transcend JetDrive 825. It supports Thunderbolt 3 and transfer speeds of up to 950MB/s. Available in 240GB ($233), 480GB ($367), and 960GB ($636) capacities.

WD

The WD My Passport comes in various colors and is available in 1TB ($84), 2TB ($109), and 4TB ($159) capacities. All purchases will come with a free carrying pouch.

The Lyra Trio is ASUS’ latest mesh networking system. It is dual-band, supporting speeds of up to 450Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,300Mbps on its 5GHz network. It is compact and sports a unique pyramidal design that supposedly minimizes interfaces and improves Wi-Fi coverage across floors. A pack of three is going for $399 (U.P $459) and comes with a free USB-AC53 Nano Wi-Fi adapter. You can also get it as a single unit ($169) or as a pack of two ($289).

The RT-AC86U is a dual-band AC2900 router that supports speeds of up to 750Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 2,167Mbps on its 5GHz network. But more importantly, it is one of the routers that supports ASUS’ new AiMesh system, which allows you to use multiple routers to create a Wi-Fi mesh and expand Wi-Fi coverage. This means that if you do upgrade to another ASUS AiMesh-capable router in future, you can use the RT-AC86U as a Wi-Fi node. It is going for $299 (U.P $329) and comes with a free 32GB thumb drive.

The ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 is the first ROG router that ASUS designed specifically for gamers. It broadcasts up to three networks and supports a total maximum bandwidth of 5,300Mbps. It also comes with features like ROG Game Center and Game Boost, which helps improve networking performance. It is going for $499 (U.P $599) and comes with a free ASUS gaming mouse and USB-AC53 wireless adapter. But hurry, because these two freebies are limited to the first 20 sets per day.

The D-Link DIR-895L is quite possibly the most affordable AC5300-class router at IT Show 2018. It is a tri-band router capable of a supporting a combined bandwidth of 5300Mbps on its two 5GHz networks and single 2.4GHz network. Most importantly, it is going for just $299 (U.P $449)!

If you got a relatively new AC1900-class and above router, you'll probably need one of these to fully maximize the potential of your router as most client devices don't support Wi-Fi speeds of above 867Mbps. The D-Link DWA192 supports speeds of up to 600Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,300Mbps on its 5GHz, allowing users to maximize the performance of their new routers. It is priced at $59 (U.P $109).

The Linksys EA9500S router is an AC5300-class router that serves up speeds of up to 5,300Mbps on its single 2.4GHz network and two 5GHz networks. It also has a whopping 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It is going for just $399 (U.P $ 499). Every purchase also gives you the opporunity to get the Linksys RE7000 Wi-Fi AC1900 range extender for $99 (U.P $199)

The Linksys WRT32X is a router that was designed especially for gamers. It is a dual-band router that supports speeds of up to 3,200Mbps (N600 + AC2600) and it has a Killer Prioritization Engine that works together with Killer-enabled devices to prioritize gaming traffic. The first 10 customers everyday will be able to get it for $349 ($449) along with a free Razer Electra V2 gaming headset and $30 voucher.

The latest firmware update for the Netgear Orbi turns it into a true mesh networking system. The Orbi is one of the fastest mesh networking system around and is the winner of our Best Mesh Networking System award at Tech Awards 2018. It is an AC3000-class tri-band router capable of supporting speeds of up to 400Mbps on its 2.4GHz network amd 867Mbps on its 5GHz network. The Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR500 is a router designed for gamers. It's a dual-band AC2600-class router that supports speeds of up to 800Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,733Mbps on its 5GHz network. It is powered by DumaOS and features a Gaming Dashboard that shows uses real-time bandwidth utilization, ping, and traffic. It also has Geo-Filter capabilities, which limits servers to those close to you to reduce lag. It even has DFS capabilities, allowing it to use Wi-Fi channels normally reserved for radar use. It is going for $439.

 

Synology

The Synology RT2600ac is a dual-band AC2600-class router supporting speeds of up to 800Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,733Mbps on its 5GHz network. It also has Smart WAN capability allowing users to combine two Gigabit Ethernet ports as a failover or load balancing. It is going for $320.

 

The TP-Link Archer C3200 is a tri-band router that supports speeds of up to 600Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,300Mbps on each of its 5GHz network. It is going for $289. However, if you are fast, the first 5 customers every day can purchase it for $249.

TP-Link's Deco M5 is one of the most affordable mesh networking systems available. A single Deco M5 node is going for $149 (U.P $155). But if you are fast, the first 20 customers can get it at just $99.

Canon

The Canon GX7 X Mark II is a compact camera with a large 1” 20.1MP sensor and f/1.8-2.8 lens with 4.2x optical zoom. It also ships with built-in Wi-Fi and NFC. Yours for S$799, with a free 16GB SD card, 32GB SD card, and FB-CB1 bag.

The EOS M100 is the most affordable mirrorless camera in Canon’s stable. At S$699 at the IT Show (price after cashback), with a 15-45mm kit lens. Comes with a free 16GB SD card, 32GB SD card, Manfrotto camera bag, and S$100 cashback.

The Canon EOS 77D performs well as both a stills and video shooter, thanks to its Dual Pixel AF. Casio

The popular Casio TR80 lets you grab perfect selfies with its ability to swivel the screen around. It comes with make-up functions, a large 3.5” display, and double LED lights for clear selfies even in low-light. At a limited time offer for S$849, as quoted by IT Show staff. The IT Show price on the brochure is actually S$1,019. Its usual price is S$1,299. The TR80 and comes with a free TR80 leather case, neck strap, Arnold Palmer luggage, and 32GB microSD card.

The Casio TR mini makes its debut at the IT Show. The camera comes with a ring of lights to brighten up your selfies, and new make-up effects. The staff quoted a price of S$399 as a limited time offer. The brochure has the IT Show price at S$599 (U.P. S$699). Comes with a free 16GB microSD card, neck strap, and camera case.

The Casio G’z Eye (yeah, we don’t know how to say that either) is an action camera for tough environments. The camera captures Full-HD movies, with slow-motion movies at 240/120fps. It’s drop, dust, water, and low-temperature resistant. The staff quoted a time limited price of S$449. The brochure lists its IT Show price as S$549 (U.P. S$629). Comes with free tripod grip, multi-mounting pack set, G’z Eye haversack, and 16GB microSD card.

 

Fujifilm

The Fujifilm X-E3 is available at S$1,499 (body only), $1,699 with a 15-45mm kit lens, S$1,899 with a 23mm lens, and S$2,099 with a 18-55mm kit lens. The X-E3 features a 24.3MP X-Trans APS-C sensor with a 2.36m dot EVF and 4K video recording capability. It comes with a free 16GB SD card, NPW126 battery, BLC-XE3 leather case, photo print vouchers, X-series product workshop, tripod, Samurai dry box, 50-230mm lens, and S$50 cash back.

The Fujifilm X-T20 gives you a lot of the flagship X-T2 for a lower price. GoPro

The GoPro Hero6 black bundle (Hero6 Black with screen protector and Quik Key) is going for S$595 at IT Show, with gifts worth S$90. The Hero5 Black is available in two bundles. Nikon

The Nikon 1 J5 is the last mirrorless that Nikon released in 2015. If you don’t mind not getting the latest tech, it’s practically priced to clear at the show (we found the prices at the show different from the ones on the printed brochure). Yours for S$499 (after voucher rebate) with a 10-30mm kit lens. Or S$699 (after voucher rebate) with a 10-30mm and 30-110mm kit lens. It also comes with a free 16GB microSD card, camera bag, and extra battery.

If you care about how your printer matches the decor of your room, you need to take a look at Canon’s multicolor printers. Fitbit

The Garmin Fenix 5 is their flagship fitness tracker/smartwatch. The Fenix 5 multisport GPS watch is available from S$799 (U.P. S$899) to S$899 (U.P. S$999), while the smaller Fenix 5S (shown here) is available from S$759 (U.P. S$899) to S$999 (U.P. S$1,099). The Fenix 5X comes with full-color map guidance and sells for S$999 (U.P. S$1,099).

The Garmin Forerunner 645 Music with Garmin Pay is their newest product and available for pre-order. The GPS running watch comes with storage for music, which you can download from selected music streaming services, or transfer via PC. The watch sells for S$669 with a free pair of JayBird X3 earphones (limited to one unit per customer, 30 pieces per day, while stocks last).

Touted as the only ZenBook with dual storage options, this rose gold ZenBook 14 is a strong buy, with its discounted show price of $1,298.

The ASUS VivoBook S14 is equipped with the latest Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB HDD. Its 14-inch screen has a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution, while the laptop itself is fairly light at slightly over 1.4kg. it features a discrete graphics chipset in the form of NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 2GB of DDR5 video memory. It is priced at $1,498 and comes bundled with a 1-year anti-virus subscription, a laptop sleeve case, and an optical mouse.

The ASUSPro B9440 will make an ideal purchase if you are looking for a business laptop. It is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i5-7200U CPU, coupled with 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Its 14-inch LED display has a maximum resolution of 1920- by 1080-pixel, with an anti-glare panel. It weighs only 1.05kg, and is backed by a 3-year on-site warranty, and is priced at a show special of $1,998!

 

Dell

The new Dell Inspiron 22 300 AIO is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processors. You can choose from an Intel Core i3-7130U or an Intel Core i5-7200U. The 21.5-inch display has a maximum resolution of 1920- by 1080-pixel, but take note that there aren't any discrete graphics chipset for this AIO 3200 series. The Intel Core i3 version is priced at $899, while the Intel Core i5 version is priced slightly over $1K at $1,199.

The new Dell XPS 13 (9370) special edition comes in rose gold with a white palm rest that is woven glass fiber. This material is touted to be cool to touch with its luxurious feel. Under its hood, this 13.3-inch laptop sports an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U CPU, with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 256GB PCIe-based SSD. Its UltraHD 4k 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display has bezels so thin that its webcam needs to be housed at the bottom bezel of its display. Priced at $2,649, this laptop looks stunning and unique!

The Dell Inspiron Desktop (3668) sports the 7th generation Intel Core i5-7400 CPU, and features 8GB of DDR4 RAM. It has dual storage options, i.e., a 128GB SSD, and a 1TB HDD. The system has an NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 graphics card with 2GB of DDR4 video memory. It comes bundled with a wired Dell keyboard and mouse, and is backed a 1-year Dell Premium Support. As a show special, it is priced at $899 instead of its usual $999 price point.

HP

The HP Envy Curved All-in-One 34 features a curved 34-inch WQHD display with a maximum resolution of 3440 by 1440 pixels. It sports a 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7700T CPU, with 16GB of DDR4 system memory. The A-I-O desktop PC features the AMD Radeon RX460 GPU, with 4GB of DDR5 video memory. It also has a single USB-C Thunderbolt port for data transfer or to connect another external display. It is priced at $3,399, a $600 reduction (15% off) from its usual price of $3,999

The HP Envy 13 is powered by the current generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 16GB of DDR3 system memory, and a 512GB PCIe SSD. There's also an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 2GB for some extra graphics processing heft, and Bang & Olufsen speakers for better audio playback. You can get it at $1,899, together with a free HP case and a 1-year McAfee Internet Security subscription.

The 14-inch HP Pavilion notebook is powered by the current generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB M.2 SATA 6Gbps SSD. It features the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics chipset, with 4GB of DDR5 VRAM. It is priced at a show special of $1,299 (U.P. $1,399) and backed with a 2-year limited warranty.

The 13.3-inch HP Spectre x360 is powered by the current generation Intel Core i7-8250U processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe-based NVMe SSD. Buy it at the launch price of $2,399, together with a free copy of McAfee anti-virus and a laptop carrying case.

Lenovo

The Lenovo Yoga 920 features an Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe SSD. The display is a 13.9-inch 3,840 x 2,160-pixel IPS touchscreen panel, so you should get really crisp images. The device is going for $3,099, together with a Lenovo Active Pen, a Type-C to HDMI adapter, a 3-year McAfee anti-virus subscription, and a Samsonite carrying case. The Star Wars Edition of the Lenovo 920 (not on display) is going for a show special of $2,599 (U.P. $2,999). The Yoga 920 is backed by a 2-year Lenovo PremiumCare (on-site) warranty.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre 510S is a traditional desktop slim PC, which is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i5-7400T CPU. Coupled with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB HDD for storage, this desktop PC is priced at $649, and comes with a bundled wired keyboard and mouse.

The Lenovo Miix 520 hybrid is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core -5-8250U CPU, coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Its storage is handled by its 256GB PCIe-based NVMe SSD. It runs on Windows 10 Professional, and is priced at $1,599. The Miix 520 is backed with a 2-year carry-in warranty.

LG

The LG gram 15 comes only in white, and is powered by the latest Intel Core i7-8550U processor, with 8GB of system memory. Its 15.6-inch display has a maximum resolution of 1920- by 1080-pixel. Its storage is handled by a 512 SSD. Priced at $2,499, it comes with a free LG Projector PV150 (worth $599)

The LG gram 14 is the winner for Best Ultraportable Notebook category of HWZ Tech Awards 2018. it is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i5-7200U CPU, coupled with 8GB of RAM. It is priced at $2,099, and comes with a free PV150 LG projector.

Microsoft

The Microsoft Surface Pro is equipped with a 7th generation Intel Core i5-7300U processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. This particular configuration is priced at $1,398 and its bundled Type Cover keyboard is available in black only. The Surface Pro comes with a free bundle that comprises a USB hub, sleeve case, and a wireless mouse.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop is a clamshell laptop running Windows 10 S (upgradable to Pro). It weighs 1.25kg, and is less than 14.5mm thick. The laptop also touts up to 14.5 hours of battery life. It sports a 13.5-inch PixelSense display,which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and it is optimized for touch and inking (works with the optional Surface Pen). Its keyboard is covered in luxurious Alcantara material. Prices start from $1,488, and that’s for the Intel Core i5 (Kaby Lake) version, with 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM, and Intel HD Graphics 620. The top-end variant with Core i7-7660U, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM, and Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 will set you back $3,888.

The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is launched in Singapore today! The 13-inch model is priced from $2,188 for a 7th-gen Intel Core i5-7300U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Separately, the 15-inch model is priced from $3,588 and comes with the latest Intel Core i7-8650U processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD.

The Microsoft Surface Studio has just been launched in Singapore. It sports a quad-core, 6th generation Intel Core i7-6820U processor, with 32GB of system memory. It features an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics chipset with 4GB of DDR5 video memory. Its touch-enabled, 28-inch PixelSense display has a maximum resolution of 4500- by 3000-pixel resolution. Its storage options include a 2TB HDD, and a 128GBSSD. The Surface Studio costs a hefty $6,488 but there’s a special price for eligible students, parents, and teachers that drops the price to $5,839.20.

Secretlab

The Secretlab Omega 2018 has been updated with a new upgraded construction and inner cold-cured foam to spread and support your weight more evenly. The new four-directional soft PU-coated armrests are now wider for more comfort and a new upgraded hydraulic piston accommodates a greater height range. It also comes with a new memory foam lumbar pillow and velour head pillow. DXRacer

The DXRacer Formula Series gaming chair has a higher backrest to support the entirety of your spinal column, from pelvis to neck, and a stable five-point, metal base with a gas spring that lets you adjust it for varying heights. A tilt mechanism lets the backrest be lowered to any angle down to 130°, with the ability to lock in place at any point. Aftershock's Omnidesk Pro is a fully electric height-adjustable desk for gamers and power users. It supports multi-monitor setups with optional monitor arms, and offers mounts for your PC case, subwoofer, and headphones as well. It is selling now at S$630 for the 48-inch model and S$680 for the 60-inch version.
