In Pictures: Fujifilm's latest X-series camera, the svelte X-E3
We take a quick look at the recently released Fujifilm X-E3 and its local pricing.
Fujifilm’s new X-E3 boasts a 24.3MP X-Trans III CMOS sensor with X-Processor Pro, just like their flagship X-T2 and X-Pro 2 cameras.
It also gains the Focus Lever (the little black nub) first seen on the X-Pro2, allowing for an easier selection of a preferred focus point even when the camera is to your eye.
As you can see, the four-way d-pad on the X-E2 is gone, giving you even more space to rest your fingers.
The top plate has two precision-milled aluminum dials and an Auto mode selector lever. Note the new C position on the compensation dial. This allows you to make adjustments up to 5 stops (in 1/3 stop increments) in either direction.
Touch has finally been extended to the operation of menus, making the Q menu even more convenient.
You can even flick across the screen (up-down and right-left) to call up menus for pre-assigned functions while shooting.
Here are the prices for the various kit packages of the X-E3. It will be available in a choice of black or silver at all authorized Fujifilm resellers from 28th September 2017.
