Every folding smartphone announced or rumored so far
Foldable phones look set to be the hottest smartphone trend of 2019. Here's every folding smartphone that's been announced so far.
Samsung's Galaxy Fold was one of the first folding smartphones we saw when it was briefly shown at SDCC in November last year. The full phone was finally revealed at last month's Unpacked event.
The Galaxy Fold has a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED screen on the front and a foldable 7.3-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display on the inside that lets you use the device as both a phone and a tablet.

The Mate X also has a 4,500mAh battery, a triple-lens rear camera, a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB of storage, and 5G support.

Oppo hasn't unveiled much about its folding phone, other than to say that it is building one. Oppo vice president Brian Shen posted some photos on Weibo of a foldable prototype that looks quite similar to Huawei's Mate X.
Vivo recently announced a new sub-brand iQOO, that is rumored to be working on an affordable folding device. Several renders have leaked online that show a folding phone with a similar form factor as the Huawei Mate X.
While LG isn't fully hopping on the foldable phone hype train, it is releasing an add-on Dual Screen accessory for their upcoming V50 ThinQ 5G. This adds similar multitasking and gaming functionality as true folding smartphones, but will cost much less.
The V50 ThinQ 5G is essentially an upgraded version of the recently released V40 ThinQ, with the same design, the same 6.4-inch QHD+ notched display, and the same penta-camera setup.
