Best Telco Service Provider - Singtel
Singtel/GOMO continues to secure the top spot with 40.9%, reflecting strong consumer trust built on consistent network reliability and nationwide coverage.
Singapore users continue to prioritise dependable connectivity for work, entertainment and travel, and Singtel’s combination of premium postpaid offerings and GOMO’s budget-friendly digital plans gives the group broad market appeal. The telco’s ongoing 5G updates, such as its new Priority Plans, revamped 5G+ plans, alongside enhancements in roaming and cross-border digital services, have further helped it stay ahead in public mindshare.
However, its lead has been eroded by both StarHub and Simba compared to last year’s standings. StarHub/Giga remains close behind, thanks to competitive pricing and refreshed 5G plans, but the gap shows that stability still matters more than promotions alone. Looking ahead, competition is expected to intensify as SIM-only pricing pressures persist and MVNOs introduce more niche offerings. For Singtel/GOMO, maintaining leadership may depend on strengthening customer experience, expanding bundled services, and pushing real-world 5G applications that deliver tangible value beyond speed tests.
Best MVNO Service Provider - MyRepublic
MyRepublic dominates the MVNO category with an overwhelming 69.2%, far ahead of Circles.Life at 11.3%, and a remarkable uptick from last year.
The brand’s continued success reflects its identity as a performance-focused alternative to traditional telcos, especially among gamers and heavy-data users who value low latency and stable throughput. MyRepublic has built a strong reputation for transparent pricing, generous data allowances and responsive customer service, which differentiates it in an increasingly crowded MVNO landscape. The brand’s cross-selling strength, leveraging its broadband base, also reinforces customer stickiness. Circles.Life, once a disruptor, loses share as competitors intensify promotions and as consumers gravitate toward providers perceived to deliver more stable network experiences. The next year will be critical: with MVNOs experimenting with lifestyle bundles and micro-plans, MyRepublic’s challenge is to continue innovating without compromising reliability. If it maintains both performance and competitive pricing, it may remain the category’s runaway favourite for another year.
Best Fibre Broadband Service Provider - MyRepublic
MyRepublic’s commanding 70.7% win highlights its strong reputation for fast, consistent fibre broadband and customer-centric value.
Its continued dominance suggests that consumers place high importance on stable evening speeds, low latency, and reliability during work-from-home sessions—areas where MyRepublic has historically excelled. The company’s gamer-focused positioning, straightforward plans, and aggressive introductory offers have all contributed to impressive year-on-year retention. Meanwhile, telcos like Singtel and StarHub trail significantly, signalling that premium pricing and bundled TV packages no longer sway tech-savvy voters as effectively as before. However, since StarHub acquired MyRepublic’s broadband business, it will be interesting to see if MyRepublic can continue to retain its pole position status.
Value-driven users are increasingly comfortable choosing non-telco ISPs, especially when network performance is proven, and customer service is perceived to be more accessible. Indeed, moves by MVNO Eight (owned by StarHub) to offer Internet plans, shows that there could be more room for change in Singapore’s seemingly full broadband market.
Best Pay TV Service Provider - StarHub TV
StarHub TV leads with 58.5%, reaffirming its strength in premium content aggregation and live sports delivery, stealing the throne from Singtel (as seen in last year’s polling).
While streaming services continue to dominate entertainment consumption, StarHub’s win shows that traditional Pay TV still holds value when backed by exclusive channels, regional sports coverage and simplified bundles. Its ease of installation, competitive promotions and integration with broadband services provide additional convenience for households preferring curated channels over app-hopping.
Singtel TV remains a strong alternative on the back of long-standing sports partnerships, yet the results suggest that StarHub’s refreshed line-up and customer experience improvements have resonated more effectively. The landscape is expected to evolve as more OTT platforms secure exclusive content rights. Indeed, StarHub recently moved to allow its content to be streamed over the OTT platform meWatch. StarHub’s future success will likely rely on how well it merges set-top experiences with app-based streaming, particularly for users who want a single platform that blends traditional channels with on-demand convenience.
Best Video Streaming Service Provider - Netflix
Netflix dominates with 63.5%, far ahead of Amazon Prime Video (7.0%) and Apple TV+ (5.9%).
Its vast global catalogue, strong slate of originals and consistent streaming performance continue to make it the go-to choice for Singaporean viewers. Despite rising subscription prices and password-sharing crackdowns, Netflix retains a significant edge because it offers predictable quality and a content pipeline unmatched by competitors (more so with the just-announced acquisition). Local audiences have also shown strong interest in Korean dramas, reality shows and big-budget films—genres where Netflix maintains leadership. The challenge for next year comes from increasing fragmentation: more regional services, exclusive rights deals and bundled telco offerings. Still, unless a competitor can match Netflix’s breadth while also delivering comparable recommendation quality and platform reliability, the service is positioned to hold its lead comfortably in 2026.
Best Security Software Brand - Microsoft
This year, Microsoft takes first place with 25.0%, narrowly surpassing McAfee (23.4%) and AVG (10.5%).
The company’s advantage lies in its seamless ecosystem integration across Windows devices, where many users already rely on Microsoft Defender for real-time protection without needing separate installations. Frequent security updates, cloud-based threat intelligence and enterprise-level safeguards provide reassurance for everyday consumers. Microsoft’s visibility in professional environments also strengthens general trust in its cybersecurity capabilities. Competitors like McAfee remain popular among users wanting more feature-rich dashboards or multi-device packages, but the trend indicates a growing preference for built-in, low-friction protection rather than bulky standalone suites. With cybersecurity threats rising, Microsoft’s future lead may depend on how quickly it enhances cross-platform support and advanced features while maintaining its reputation for simplicity and reliability.
Best Generative AI Chatbot Service - OpenAI’s ChatGPT
In our inaugural debut of this category, ChatGPT wins convincingly with 44.1%, far ahead of Google Gemini (17.1%) and Meta AI (12.9%).
Its strong lead reflects the model’s versatility, used for writing, research, coding, and everyday assistance, and the rapid pace of feature upgrades. Singapore users have embraced ChatGPT for productivity, quick problem-solving, and structured content creation, with the chatbot now integrated into workflows across students, freelancers and professionals. Competitor models have improved, but OpenAI’s brand recognition, ecosystem maturity and consistent model performance keep it ahead. The coming year will intensify competition as AI agents become more autonomous. Maintaining leadership will require continued improvements in accuracy, real-time reasoning, safety, and transparency.
Best Electronics Shopping Portal (Singapore) - Shopee
Making a return after a couple of years off the polling list, this category once again saw Shopee lead decisively with 43.8%, outpacing Lazada (10.7%) and Amazon.sg (9.8%).
Its dominance reflects its unmatched breadth of listings, aggressive voucher-driven ecosystem, and strong presence in everyday tech shopping habits. Daily flash sales, free shipping promotions and an extensive network of sellers help create a platform that feels both affordable and accessible to Singaporeans. While Lazada and Amazon.sg offer more polished logistics or brand-direct storefronts, Shopee’s advantage lies in convenience and perceived value. Its challenge moving forward will be curbing counterfeit risks and improving consistency in seller quality, areas where Amazon has gained ground. Still, with its deep integration into local shopping behaviour, Shopee remains the default marketplace for most consumers looking for tech deals.
Best Electronics Chain Store (Singapore) - Challenger
Yet another category that has returned after a hiatus, Challenger again claimed first place with a 25.7% vote share, ahead of Harvey Norman (15.9%) and Courts (13.5%).
The brand’s strength lies in its islandwide presence, extensive range of tech products, and value delivered through its popular ValueClub membership programme. Challenger’s ability to offer hands-on product demos in-store continues to differentiate it from purely online retailers, especially for categories like peripherals, accessories and PC components. Despite increasing retail competition, Challenger’s curated assortment, reliable variety, and consistent promotional cadence help maintain relevance and make it the go-to brick-and-mortar store for getting tech gear quickly. The next step for the brand may be blending physical stores with an improved online experience to reinforce omnichannel shopping, especially as consumers increasingly research online before purchasing in-store.
Best Personal Banking App - DBS/POSB Digibank
In this brand new voting segment, DBS/POSB Digibank leads with 55.1%, far ahead of OCBC Digital (13.1%) and UOB TMRW (11.9%).
The app’s win stems from its reliability, intuitive interface, and robust security features that reassure Singapore’s digital-first banking population. Quick transfers, PayNow integration, investment dashboards and seamless bill management make it a daily essential for many households. DBS’s rollout of new features, including AI-guided financial insights and security initiatives, is one standout feature of the app. However, the rise of digital-only neobanks and emerging digital services could challenge incumbents through more personalised interfaces. DBS’s priority next year will likely be balancing innovation with stability, ensuring it doesn’t overwhelm users while expanding its suite of smart financial tools.
Best Multi-Currency Mobile Wallet - YouTrip
Another inaugural category introduced this year, YouTrip dominates with 67.6%, beating Wise (14.7%) and Revolut (13.9%).
Its leadership reflects strong reliability, easy overseas payments and competitive exchange rates, features highly valued by Singaporeans when travelling for leisure and work. The wallet’s no-frills interface and ability to spend in multiple currencies without hidden fees have cemented its position as a preferred travel companion. Competitors like Wise and Revolut offer more advanced financial features, but YouTrip’s simplicity remains its greatest strength. As travel rebounds further in 2026, the critical question is whether YouTrip expands into premium tiers or keeps its winning formula laser-focused on travellers seeking straightforward, dependable FX spending.
