Season 3 of HBO’s mind-bending sci-fi drama Westworld is closer than ever.
HBO has just dropped a long and tantalising new trailer for Westworld Season 3, featuring Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) taking the fight for android lives to the real world.
Most of this season’s characters have been spending the last two (incredibly traumatic) seasons in Westworld, a wild west era-themed park populated by androids. Unfortunately, those androids eventually became sentient, and started yearning for lives of their own. Season 2 ended with Dolores being one of the very few androids to actually make it out into the real world, promising to end the injustice that has been done to her kind.

Season 3 sees the introduction of several new characters - one of which is Caleb, played by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. Dolores ropes him in to help in her quest to destroy Delos Inc., the company that produces androids like her and puts them in theme parks. Thandie Newton’s Maeve on the other hand, finds herself reborn and stuck in Delos’ World War II-themed park. By the end of this trailer, Dolores and Maeve are turned against each other - though we’re not sure how things turn out that way just yet.
Westworld Season 3 is subtitled ‘The New World’, and will be released on March 15 on HBO. Eagle-eyed Singaporeans might also be able to spot certain familiar landmarks in this season’s episodes!
