At Computex 2025, ASUS ROG's focus is on esports. The gaming brand unveiled a slate of new peripherals that it says are reaffirming its dedication to gamers, chief of which include a split keyboard, and an ultra-light mouse that's part of the esports-oriented ROG Ace lineup.
Take a look at what the ROG booth had in store at Computex here:

Split keyboards aren't necessarily a new thing. You'd usually see them in the ergonomic keyboard space, with boards like the Ergodox, Ultimate Hacking Keyboard and the Keychron Q11, and you could go even further back to the 90s with boards like the Lexmark Split M15 and Apple Adjustable Keyboard.
However, they've never really found traction in the gaming community, which has mostly stuck with the traditional keyboard layout. With the ROG Falcata, though, we're seeing some ergonomic features being applied in a gaming context.
The Falcata is a 75 percent split gaming keyboard that uses ROG's HFX V2 Magnetic Switches, making this ROG's second hall effect keyboard after the Falchion Ace HFX. Like other hall effect keyboards, the Falcata features an adjustable actuation point, in this case between 0.1mm to 3.5mm, with intervals of 0.01mm. Rapid Trigger is also present, and can be accessed by a toggle on the top edge of the Falcata.
ASUS ROG touted some of the benefits the split keyboard design provides, one of which is the potential for space-saving if you use only the left keyboard module for gaming. Additional feet can also be screwed in along the edges of where the modules split, which means the board can be tented, or propped up at a lateral angle, allowing for more comfortable typing. There's also a silicone wrist rest attachment included, as well as a multi-function wheel.
As for how the two modules work, the Falcata requires a link cable (included with the board) to connect the modules together, which is why the board has three USB-C ports. ASUS ROG recommends that you don't lose that bundled link cable, as third-party USB-C cables won't work for connecting the two halves together.
The Falcata also features an 8000Hz polling rate, and has tri-mode connectivity across Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless (via ROG's SpeedNova tech) and wired USB.

The ROG Harpe II Ace is a lightweight mouse that ASUS says was designed with and for competitive gamers. Case in point, Demon1, a 2023 Valorant champion, was named as one of the esports professionals that were consulted for the the development of the mouse.
The Harpe II Ace refines the design of its predecessor, the Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition, with a slightly lower hump and tapered sides for those using a fingertip grip. The Harpe II Ace also weights in at just 48g, utilising a castor oil-based nylon for its shell, and has a 42,000dpi sensor and optical micro switches.
The mouse features what ASUS ROG calls 'Zone Mode', which pushes the Harpe II Ace's polling rate to 8000Hz, keeps the mouse in an active state and turns off the RGB to conserve battery. There's also tri-mode connectivity, including ROG's SpeedNova 2.4GHz connection.

Additionally, ROG also launched two new gaming chairs: A Moonlight White version of its Destrier Core ergonomic gaming chair, and a new ROG Courser that features a 90 to 155 degree reclining system and adjustable lumbar support.
Finally, a new ROG Strix Ace XG248 monitor was also launched, featuring a TN panel that can be overclocked to 610Hz. 600Hz is the base refresh rate of the XG248, and it's also where the industry is currently settled in terms of its highest refresh rate monitors, so while the practical performance improvements might be negligible, it comes out as one of the fastest amongst its peers by a hair.
