ASUS ROG has announced the launch of their latest gaming keyboard, the ROG Falchion Ace HFX

The 65% wired gaming keyboard will be the first from the company to introduce their latest ROG HFX Magnetic Switches, which allow users to customise the actuation point from 0.1 to 4.0m. This allows for varying switch actuation preferences when used for gaming and typing.

Besides the magnetic switches, the Falchion Ace HFX also has Rapid Trigger implementation. In a nutshell, Rapid Trigger allows users to release and press keys at a much faster rate than it is physically possible on a normal keyboard, which in turn, improves responsiveness on a keyboard. Complementing Rapid Trigger is the keyboard’s 8000Hz polling rate, which delivers a response time of 0.125ms. This is double the recently announced Razer Blackwidow V4 Pro 75%.

All of this fits into a 65% layout, which weighs in at approximately 643g. The keyboard has a five-layered dampening system with a silicone gasket mount design to absorb vibrations and reduce noise. For multimedia controls, there is a multi-function button located at the top of the keyboard which allows users to adjust the actuation point, control media playback, change the volume, and more through a touch or a press.

Additional features of the keyboard include dual-port support allowing users to connect and switch between two PCs, simultaneous opposing cardinal directions (SOCD), and of course, RGB through the armoury crate software.

Available only in black, the ROG Falchion Ace HFX will be available for purchase in early October for S$309. The keyboard can be purchased from their official storefronts on Shopee and Lazada, as well as their official website.
