Since the Nintendo Switch 2 slated to launch sometime this quarter, it is no wonder that we are starting to see leaked renders of the portable gaming console.

Thanks to tipster @OnLeaks and @91Mobiles, we now have a good look at high-resolution renders of the Nintendo Switch 2. These tipsters also shared several specs of the Nintendo Switch 2 which include:

  • 8.4-inch display compared to the 6.2-inch screen on the first-generation Switch and 7.0-inch screen on the Switch OLED

  • 271 x 116.4 x 31.4mm compared to the first-generation Switch (239 x 102 x 14mm) and Switch OLED (241 x 102 x 14mm)

  • Bigger Joy-Con controllers (116.4 x 40.8 x 31.4mm) compared to the first-generation Switch's (102 x 35.9 x 28.4mm) with a new button above the "Home" button and new "trigger buttons" next to the "ZL" and "ZR" buttons

  • USB-C port on the top side of the console alongside the 3.5mm headphone jack, which makes charging more convenient than the current model

  • U-shaped kickstand

Other rumours suggest that the Nintendo Switch 2 will have 12GB RAM (2 x 6GB LPDDR5X modules), 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage space, and a built-in microphone.

Nintendo was initially planning to unveil the Switch 2 at the end of last year, but the plan got delayed as the company reportedly needed more time to build up a stronger lineup of game offerings at launch.
