Nintendo has pushed back the launch of the Switch 2 game console according to multiple sources in the industry.
If you've been holding out for the Nintendo Switch 2, we have some bad news to share: its initial launch at the end of the year has been pushed back.
Multiple sources in the industry, which include Brazilian games journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, Eurogamer, and VGC, have heard chatter about the delayed launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 to Q1 2025.
An internal delay is cited to be the reason with VGC's source sharing that Nintendo needs more time to build up a stronger line-up of game offerings at launch. Rumours indicate that Metroid Prime 4, and a 3D Mario game are among the new games in the pipeline for the Nintendo Switch 2.
