ASUS ROG and Bethesda collaborate to bring a Doom-inspired RTX 5080 to your setup

ASUS is gearing up celebrations for the 30th anniversary of its graphics cards, and that means it's a good time for those looking for special edition cards to enhance their setups with.
Kicking off the anniverary is one such card. The result of a collaboration between ASUS ROG, Bethesda and id Software, it's the ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 Doom Edition.
This is a limited edition version of the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 (read our review of that here), and although it doesn't mention 'OC' in the name, the advertised OC Mode speed for this specific card (2790MHz) does appear to match the OC Edition of the ROG Astral RTX 5080.
In terms of appearance, the card features some Doom Slayer-inspired colours on the GPU housing and the fan, as well as a depiction of the Doom Slayer themselves on the back.

On both sides of the card is the logo for Doom: The Dark Ages, the eagerly anticipated title that's set to precede Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal (take a look at our hands-on to see what we think of it). The game is set to come out on 15 May, which makes this collab a rather well-timed one.
Speaking of Doom: The Dark Ages, the Doom Edition graphics card comes in a special bundle with a bunch of other Doom goodies being sold by Bethesda. These include an exclusive t-shirt, mouse mat, yellow key card, and a Doom Slayer Legionary skin for use in-game. Heck, you can even get a Steam code for the Premium Edition of the game itself to go along with these items, though it is optional. But, given that you're purchasing an RTX 5080, the price of the game is only a fraction of what the bundle costs.
Pricing and availability
The ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 Doom Edition, along with all the other items in the bundle, are available exclusively on the Bethesda Gear website for pre-order now. Being a new high-end GPU (and a special version of it at that), 'pricey' is an understatement; the bundle will cost US$1,899 without the game, and US$1,999, game included.
