Razer has just unveiled its latest gaming keyboard, the Blackwidow V4 Pro 75%, and is a direct follow-up to the popular Blackwidow V4 75%.
One of the biggest differences between the new keyboard and the original is the presence of the built-in OLED display in place of control knobs. The display allows users to view anything under the sky from PC temperatures, keyboard status, and even custom animations. The display can be configured through Razer Synapse.
There is also a rotating dial on the keyboard for controls. Photo: Razer
As the name suggests, the keyboard comes in a 75% form factor and is made with an aluminium top and a plastic bottom casing. The keycaps present on the keyboard are doubleshot PBT keycaps (yay!) and Razer says its specially made to still allow for RGB to shine through – with PBT being notoriously difficult for light to shine through. There is also a magnetic leatherette wristrest bundled to provide ergonomic support.
And just like the original Blackwidow V4 75%, the V4 Pro 75% is hot-swappable and accommodates both 3- and 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing you to customise the keyboard to your heart’s content. However, you’ll have to shell out for the switches yourself (81 to be exact) as the keyboard only comes pre-loaded with the Razer Orange Tactile switches Gen-3.
Connecting via both Bluetooth 5.1 or a wired USB-C connection, the keyboard features Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless and HyperPolling technology which Razer says should allow for a responsive typing experience. The keyboard is also capable of connecting and switching between up to three different devices.
Last but not least, the RGB. Razer has included per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting and a two-side underglow. The lighting effects can be customised through Razer’s Chroma app with various lighting profiles that can be configured to match your set-up.

The Razer Blackwidow V4 Pro 75% is now available for pre-order for S$459 with shipping beginning on 24 September.
The keyboard can be purchased from the official Razer storefronts on Shopee and Lazada, as well as their official website here.
