Whether it's a gift idea for someone or to pamper yourself, or just getting ready to splurge your bonus on a new tech toy, we've got some nice recommendations and you might even stand a chance to win some of them!

Being a PC gamer takes dedication. It's not enough to create a great gaming rig, one needs to complement it with quality peripherals as well. Generic mice and keyboards are fine for normal tasks, but ask any PC gamer and they'll tell you that gaming peripherals offer a totally different level of experience that you can never get with generic gear. One of the companies producing quality gamer gear is Cooler Master, with one of their latest products being the Sentinel III gaming mouse.

We've talked about the mouse in an earlier news piece, but here's the lowdown on it again if you missed it.

The Cooler Master Sentinel III is an eight button mouse meant for FPS palm gamers, that uses an Avago 3988 sensor, with a maximum DPI of 6400. The mouse comes with presets of 400, 1200, 4000 and 6400DPI though those presets can easily be changed via the included customization suite. Slightly larger than the average mouse, the Cooler Master Sentinel III comes with both a pinky and thumb rest. Other specs of the mouse include a 1 millisecond polling rate and a weight system that allows users to adjust its weight.

The Cooler Master Sentinel III also comes bundled with Cooler Master's customization suite, which allows you to change the mouse's button configuration, DPI presets and colors. With its 32-bit ARM processor and 512KB on-board memory, saved settings and profiles can be carried over to different machines without needing it to be reconfigured again for a new machine.

Here's a look at the customization suite in action.

Finally, the mouse also has a built-in LED display on top of it. The display can be easily customized to show the current mouse settings, or display a 32 x 32 pixels image. If you're in a clan or team, this can be used to display your logo. It might not help in your gaming, but it's a cool feature nonetheless.

If the Cooler Master Sentinel III sounds like a mouse you'd like to have, the Cooler Master Sentinel III is available now for S$109.
