Comex is back and it’s happening right now at Suntec Convention Centre, levels 3 and 4. If you are looking for a laptop or router, Comex is where you want to be and this is the article you want to read. There’s loads to see and there are deals to be found if you look hard enough. To save you the trouble and hassle, I was at Suntec the moment the show opened to help you scour the best deals. Here’s what I found.

As a reminder, Comex is on this weekend from 28 August to 31 August at Suntec Convention Centre. Level 3 opens at 11am, while Level 4 opens at 12pm. Both levels close at 9pm.
Acer Swift Go 14 AI

The Swift Go 14 offers a lot of bang for the buck. It’s powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and comes with 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It features Intel Arc graphics. The display is a high-quality 14-inch 3K OLED display, and it also supports Wi-Fi 7. It’s also thin and light, weighing just 1.25kg. Acer claims it has 29 hours of battery life. It’s going for S$1,599 (U.P. S$1,999) and comes with a free backpack and USB-C power adapter.

Apple 15-inch MacBook Air
Apple 15-inch MacBook Pro
It’s not often you see hefty discounts on Apple products, but the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air is going for S$1,099 (U.P. S$1,899). This unit has the M3 chip with 10 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores, and comes with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. While we think Macs should have at least 16GB of memory, the discount is too huge to ignore. If you don’t multitask too much, you could make 8GB of memory work.

ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED
ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED
The Zenbook 14 OLED is a solid 14-inch ultraportable notebook. It comes with a 14-inch Full-HD+ OLED display and is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor that has the Radeon 860M integrated GPU. It comes with a generous 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It weighs just 1.2kg. It’s going for S$1,760 (U.P. S$1,999) and comes with a free carrying sleeve.

HP Laptop 14
HP Laptop 14
If you are looking for a laptop and don’t want to spend too much, consider the HP Laptop 14. This laptop has a 14-inch Full-HD display and is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 125H processor. It has 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It weighs 1.4kg, which is reasonable for its size. The specifications are decent, considering it’s going for S$999 (U.P. S$1,199).

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3
The IdeaPad Slim 3 is one of the most affordable 15-inch Windows laptops I could find at Comex. Even though it costs under a grand, it has a 15.6-inch Full HD display and is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5825U processor. It has 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. It weighs about 1.6kg, which isn’t too bad for a 15-inch laptop. It’s going for S$749 (U.P. S$849) and comes with a free Lenovo backpack.

LG gram 14
LG gram 14
The gram 14 from LG remains one of the most portable laptops money can buy. It weighs just 1.12kg and LG claims a battery life of up to 30 hours. This model comes with the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, 16GB of memory, and a 512GB SSD. The 14-inch display uses an IPS panel and has Full-HD+ resolution. It’s going for S$1,529 (U.P. S$1,999).

Microsoft Surface Laptop
Microsoft Surface Laptop
The Surface Laptop is one of the most solid ultraportable laptops you can buy now. One of the main reasons is that it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X processors. These ARM-based processors allow the Surface Laptop to deliver excellent performance and battery life. In our tests, we found that it lasted over 22 hours, which is one of the longest we’ve ever measured. Furthermore, the display is great, and the overall build quality is outstanding. Prices at Comex 2025 start at S$1,439 (U.P. S$1,599).

Vaio SX-14R Kachi-Iro
Vaio SX-14R Kachi-Iro
If you’ve always fancied having a Vaio laptop but have been put off by its price, this is the time. The base model SX14-R Kachi-Iro is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor and comes with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. It also has a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The unique thing about this laptop is its Kachi-Iro finish, which is a deep and interesting shade of blue. It’s going for S$2,399 (U.P. S$2,829) and comes with a free Vaio wireless mouse and stylus.

ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98
ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98
The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 is one of the best Wi-Fi 7 routers we’ve tested, and if you are ready to splash the cash on a very high-end Wi-Fi 7 router, you should check it out. This is a quad-band router that’s capable of delivering up to 25,000Mbps of bandwidth. To ensure users can take advantage of all that speed, it has a single 10Gbps WAN port and two 10Gbps LAN ports. It’s going for S$1,049 (U.P. S$1,099) and comes with a free Cat 7 LAN cable. Also, get a S$60 voucher if you purchase any two selected ASUS, ROG, or TUF Gaming products.

Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7

Eero recently launched Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7, and they are available at Comex 2025 at very special prices. To recap, the Eero 7 is a dual-band BE5000-class mesh router with two 2.5G Ethernet ports. On the other hand, the more powerful Eero Pro 7 is a tri-band BE10800-class mesh router with two 5G Ethernet ports. A three-pack Eero 7 is going for S$349.99 (U.P. S$499.99), while a three-pack Eero Pro 7 is S$699.99 (U.P. S$999.99).

Netgear Nighthawk RS700S

The Nighthawk RS700S is a tri-band BE19000-class Wi-Fi router. This means it has a combined data transfer rate of 19,000Mbps. Its 2.4GHz band is capable of supporting speeds up to 1,400Mbps, while its 5GHz and 6GHz bands can support speeds of up to 5,800Mbps and 11,500Mbps, respectively. In terms of ports, it has a single 10G WAN port, one 10G LAN port, and four Gigabit Ethernet ports. You can also combine two of its Gigabit LAN ports to form a single 2G port. It’s going for S$799 (U.P. S$1,299).

TP-Link Archer BE230
TP-Link Archer BE230
One of the most affordable Wi-Fi 7 routers I’ve found at Comex 2025 was the TP-Link Archer BE230. This is a dual-band BE3600-class router. This means its 2.4GHz band delivers speeds of up to 688Mbps, and its 5GHz band delivers speeds of up to 2,882Mbps. As for ports, it has a single 2.5Gbps WAN port, a single 2.5Gbps LAN port, and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. It’s going for S$135 (U.P. S$195).
