The Smart Home Tech Show, which is ongoing now, focuses primarily on home appliances and smart devices. But that didn’t stop a few companies from showcasing their gaming wares. Additionally, I kept an eye out for any good telco deals that stood out to me (and hopefully, you).
Don’t forget to catch all of our Smart Home Tech Show coverage at the Tech Show Portal, where you’ll also find full brochure listings, reviews, guides, and more.
As a reminder, The Smart Home Tech Show 2025 is this weekend from 13 November to 16 November 2025 at Suntec Convention Centre. Level 3 will be open from 11 am, while Level 4 opens at 12 pm. Both levels close at 9 PM
Acer Nitro V 16S Gaming Laptop
The laptop is a tad bit heavy at 2.1Kg.
One of the more affordable gaming laptops I spotted is the Acer Nitro V 16S. The model shown in the photo (ANV16S-41-R4XW) comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB of VRAM. It also features 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD, which should be enough for downloading a couple of games.
You can find the Acer Nitro V 16S Gaming Laptop at the Acer booth (308) on level 3 for S$1,599 (MSRP: S$2,099). However, a little bird told me that you can bargain with the promoter to get an additional S$100 discount and a free upgrade to 32GB of DDR5 memory for this specific model.

You can find the CS24A gaming monitor from the AOC booth by CR Group (308) on level 3 for S$943 (MSRP: S$1,099)

If you’re shopping for a brand-new laptop for school or light gaming. The Lenovo LOQ is a good choice. The version in the photo (LOQ15AHP10) is kitted out with an AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8GB) GPU, 16GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB PCIe SSD.
Displaying all the content is a 16-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1\080 pixels with a peak brightness of 300nits.
The Lenovo LOQ 15AHP10 is currently going for S$1,899 (MSRP: S$2,099) and comes with 3 years of warranty. You can check out the laptop at the Lenovo booth by CR Group (308) at level 3.

Participate in the Spin to win challenge for a chance to get a further S$100 off the headset.
As for gaming headsets, there is the A50 X McLaren Racing Edition up for grabs for S$529. However, if you’re lucky enough, there is a further S$100 discount up for grabs via a Spin and Win wheel. All that is required to obtain a spin is to post a selfie of yourself at the event to a social media platform of your choice.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 from Singtel
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Eyeing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7? The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available at just S$2,398 (MSRP: S$2,698). To sweeten the deal, Singtel is throwing in a Samsung 50-inch QLED TV (worth S$1,199).
In our review, we were impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold7’s slimmer 8.9mm body, lighter 215g weight, and refined hinge. The 6.5-inch Cover Screen and 8-inch Main Display deliver sharp visuals with improved crease durability. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, it’s both powerful and efficient, while the new 200MP main camera finally brings S-series-level imaging to the Fold lineup. Despite retaining 25W charging and a modest telephoto lens, the Fold7 remains Samsung’s most polished and practical foldable yet.
