While Apple is said to be working on a MagSafe battery pack, Anker just released a new MagSafe compatible wireless power bank for the iPhone 12.

The PowerCore Magnetic 5K Wireless Power Bank is a snap-and-go attachment which delivers up to 5W power. It is designed specifically for the iPhone 12 lineup and comes with a rubberised surface to prevent slips and drops.

Anker claims the PowerCore Magnetic 5K Wireless Power Bank can recharge the iPhone 12 mini once, the iPhone 12 from 0% to 95%, the iPhone 12 Pro from 0% to 97%, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max from 0% to 75%.

The 5,000mAh battery can be recharged via the USB-C port and be used to charge other accessories. iPhone 12 owners who use a non-magnetic case below 5mm thickness have to be careful as Anker warns that there may not be a strong magnetic hold.

The Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5K Wireless Power Bank is priced at US$39.99 and will ship from 3 March.
