Zowie, one of the most storied names in esports peripherals, has announced its first-ever wireless mice. The EC-CW series incorporates sports science research to improve performance and endurance, according to Zowie, with a singular focus on reducing muscle fatigue and injuries.

“Together with The Human & Machine Innovation Lab, we have conducted comprehensive qualitative interviews and usability tests for our prototypes, which took a significant amount of time to complete. We firmly believe that incorporating sports science-based designs can drastically enhance the performance and endurance of esports players, ” said Jeffrey Liang, President of BenQ APAC.

"Aside from esports players, our latest design will also benefit anyone who suffers from muscle fatigue due to prolonged computer use."

One unique anti-fatigue feature targets the wrist flexor muscles, allowing for prolonged usage even with frequent clicks. There is a designated thumb rest for improved comfort and strategically placed buttons to minimise accidental clicks and fatigue.

The mice maintain the company's signature asymmetrical ergonomic design, with a curvy top shell to support your palm. It is designed to accommodate all grip styles, ensuring greater comfort for most gamers.

The EC-CW series is available in three models and sizes, including the EC1-CW, EC2-CW, and EC3-CW. The EC2-CW and EC3-CW are now available to buy at S$249 on Lazada. At the same time, Zowie has confirmed that some of its other classic shapes, including the ZA, FK, and S series mice, will also be getting the wireless treatment.
