Zotac to showcase new ZBOX and MAGNUS mini PCs at CES 2018

Zotac ZBOX mini PC.

Zotac’s line of ZBOX mini PCs for 2018 range from low-end models with Intel’s low-power Gemini Lake processors to new high-end PCs with workstation-class NVIDIA Quadro graphics. There will also be models that feature passive, or fanless, cooling with improved heat dissipation and can support Intel's 8th-gen processors.

Perhaps more interestingly, the new fanless system has a redesigned chassis that allows it to support up to a 25-watt TDP. If you remember, Intel claimed that its Kaby Lake-R CPUs are rated at 15-watt TDP, but can be 'overclocked' to squeeze out some extra juice - that's what the additional 10-watt TDP headroom with the new mini PCs can provide.

The tech company also says that its new systems will include Gigabit Ethernet, DDR4 memory,  native HDMI 2.0 support, and up to three displays.

The Magnus is a powerful machine housed in a sleek and mini casing.

Gamers can also look forward to a new MAGNUS gaming mini PC that will come with an 8th-gen Intel Core i7 six-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.

More details, such as full specifications, availability and pricing will be updated here once we hear more from Zotac.
