Zoom is introducing three new Zoom certified phone appliances that combine hardware from Poly and Yealink and the video conferencing capabilities from Zoom into all-in-one desk voice and video phone solutions.

These new phones are the first from Zoom but are just the latest in a long line of products from companies like Google, Poly, and Microsoft launched to take advantage of the hybrid work situation we are in due to Covid-19.

In a blog post, Zoom said that employees can log in or out of any device with their Zoom account or go from a voice call to a Zoom meeting using the device touchscreen.

In addition, the Zoom phones:

  • are always on and always ready for instant communication and collaboration
  • give office IT and admin centralised management through Zoom Admin Portal
  • syncing with the user’s calendar, status, meeting settings, and phone
  • easy to set up and provision

Zoom says that these Phone Appliances will be available in Singapore but can't currently confirm their pricing or date of availability. They are currently available through the Zoom Hardware-as-a-Service program as well as from authorised Poly and Yealink resellers in the United States. There the Poly CCX600 starts from US$539.95 and the Poly CCX700 starts from US$669.95. Locally, Poly says that the Zoom Phone Appliances are available through Poly's local partners and to contact them for local pricing details.
