Zeiss' first full-frame camera is now available to pre-order for US$6,000

The Zeiss ZX1.

Announced two years ago at Photokina 2018, Zeiss' first full-frame camera is finally available for pre-order now. 

B&H sent out an email to inform customers that the Android-powered ZX1 camera is now available for pre-order at a whopping price of US$6,000. While it is not the first Android-powered camera to hit the consumer market, the Zeiss ZX1 comes pre-installed with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC to enable users to shoot, edit and share on the go.

As a quick recap, the Zeiss ZX1 has a 16:9 4.34-inch rear LCD screen with multi-touch capabilities to allow users to navigate menus and review their shots. It comes with 512GB internal storage space, Wi-Fi , Bluetooth and USB-C 3.1 connectivity. The ZX1 can capture video (MP4) at up to 4K and Full HD recording at 60fps.
