Xiaomi unveils the Mi Smart Band 6 and Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro

The Mi Smart Band 6.

Besides expanding the Mi 11 lineup, Xiaomi also announced two new smart products which are the Mi Band 6 and Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro. 

The Mi Band 6 comes with a 1.56-inch full-screen AMOLED touch display, which offers about 50% more screen space than its predecesor. Users can customise and personalise the band face with over 60 themes. 

There are 30 workout modes on the Mi Band 6 such as stretching, HIIT, gymnastics, Zumba and street dancing. The fitness band can also auto-detect 6 common fitness activities. 

Other features include Sp02 measurement, heart rate monitoring, enhanced sleep tracking that includes REM and sleep breathing quality, stress monitoring, a deep breathing guidance function, female health tracking, 14 days of battery life and 5 ATM water resistance. 

The Mi Smart Band 6 is priced at 229 yuan (~S$47) and 279 yuan (~S$57.20) for the NFC model. 

The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro.

The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro can output 1,920 x 1,080 FHD picture quality with an adjustable screen size of 60 to 120-inches. It comes with a 0.47-inch DMD chip to deliver a maximum brightness of 1,300 ANSI lumens. HDR10 support also ensures that pictures are delivered in a high contrast ratio with crips colours.

Other specs include built-in 10W speakers with dual tweeters and dual full-range woofers, DTS-HD and Dolby Audio support, omni-directional keystone correction to form a perfect rectangle on a wall from any direction within 40 degrees with no distortion, and ToF sensor and camera focus capabilities for sharp focus in as little as 2 seconds. 

The Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro runs on Android TV OS, and comes preinstalled with Neflix and Google Assistant. Local pricing and availability are not available at the time of publication. We will update this article as soon as we have the information.
