If you are hoping to get your hands on the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, you have to wait a while as it will not available within the next month or two.

According to Xiaomi Singapore, the Redmi Note 4G will be available in Singapore at the end of the year. Information on the local pricing is not available at press time, but we reckon that it shouldn't be far off from the existing model at S$199.

It is important to note that the Redmi Note 4G (TDD-LTE model) is available for pre-order in China and will go on sale next Tuesday. The FDD-LTE model, which will be compatible with the 4G networks here in Singapore, will only be available in China on August 26. If you are planning to purchase a set from China, you have to check if the model is compatible with the 4G networks here.

As for the flagship Mi 4 smartphone, the FDD-LTE model will be available in China towards the end of the year. There is still no information on its availability in Singapore.
