Xiaomi just expanded its Mi 11 Series lineup which include three models, the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11i and Mi 11 Lite. The Mi 11 was announced on 29 Dec 2020 and two variants will be available for purchase in Singapore from 3 April.

The flagship model of the series is the Mi 11 Ultra, which is the first phone in the world to use Samsung's GN2 camera sensor. The GN2 camera sensor, which is jointly developed by Samsung and Xiaomi, is currently the largest mobile image sensor in the market at 1/1.12" in size.

It is capable of producing 4-in-1 2.8μm Super Pixels. When combined with Xiaomi's Ultra Night Photos, the Mi 11 Ultra is stated to take bright and detailed images with as little as 0.02 lux of light.

The other two rear cameras are equally impressive. The 48MP 5x optical zoom periscope lens offer 10x hybrid zoom and 120x digital zoom. The 48MP ultra-wide angle camera can capture 128° field of view with minimal lens distortion thanks to Xiaomi's AI algorithm.

The Mi 11 Ultra is also the first Xiaomi phone to have a multi-point direct Time-of-Flight laser focus system for an accurate 64-zone depth map, which allows it to focus faster and more accurately with a wider field of view.

The rear camera module houses a secondary 1.1-inch AMOLED display (126 x 294 pixels). The always-on display not only shows key information such as date/time and notifications, it also doubles as a selfie mirror.

On the front is a 6.8-inch 120Hz WQHD+ AMOLED quad-curved DotDisplay crafted from E4 material. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The front display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Powering the Mi 11 Ultra is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with 12GB RAM and a massive 5,000mAh battery. The battery is able to support 67W wired and 67W wireless turbo charging technology. To put this into perspective, you can recharge the battery from 0% to 100% in just 36 minutes!

This is made possible by Xiaomi's 6x supercharge technology, a new 30V wireless charging integrated circuit, a multi-level current control technology, and the use of a second-generation nano silicon oxide cathode for the battery that boasts 10x lithium ion storage capacity for higher energy density.

Other specs include an in-display fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, a dual speaker design with SOUND BY Harman Kardon, a ceramic back, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, 256GB internal storage space, a 20MP in-display selfie camera, dual-SIM + dual 5G standby, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and MIUI 12 based on Android 11.

The Mi 11 Ultra is priced at 1,199 EUR (~S$1,900). Local availability is not known at time of publication.

Like the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11i is powered by Snapdragon 888 and sports a 120Hz display. The Mi 11i has a smaller AMOLED flat display at 6.67-inches.

The Mi 11i is equipped with a triple-camera setup on the rear; a 108MP HD main camera, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera. On the front is a 20MP selfie camera.

Other specs include 8GB RAM, 128/256GB internal storage options, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, USB Type-C, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, a built-in ambient light sensor, Dolby Atmos and dual speakers.

The Mi 11i comes in three colours: celestial silver, frosty white and cosmic black. It is priced from 649 EUR (~S$1,028). Local availability is not known at time of publication.

The last of the trio is the Mi 11 Lite, which comes in 5G and 4G variants.

The Mi 11 Lite sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED DotDisplay with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and 10-bit TrueColour. While the Mi 11 Lite 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G, the Mi 11 Lite (4G variant) runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G.

On the rear is a triple-camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP telemacro camera. The 5G variant has a 20MP in-dispay selfie camera while the 4G variant comes with a 16MP in-display selfie camera.

Xiaomi says the wide-angle and front cameras are optimised for low-light conditions with Night Mode, which allows users to sunset landscapes, nighttime cityscapes or night-out selfies with higher brightness, sharper contrast and more details.

Other specs include a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, NFC, and dual audio speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G comes in two configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, while the Mi 11 Lite is available in 6GB RAM with two different storage options of 64GB and 128GB.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G is priced from 369 EUR (~S$584) and the Mi 11 Lite is priced from 299 EUR (~S$473).
