Xiaomi announced the Android One-powered Mi A3 smartphone

The Mi A3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 (a new mid-range processor), 4GB RAM and a 4,030mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. It ditches the rear fingerprint sensor for an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ (1,560 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display, which is a downgrade from the 1080p display of the Mi A2.

Camera hardware includes a triple-camera setup on the rear (48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor) and a front-facing 32MP camera. Other specs include 4G dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a memory card slot.

The Mi A3 comes in two models: (4GB + 64GB) for €249 (~S$380) and (4GB + 128GB) for €279 (~S$426). Color options include "more than white", "not just blue", and "kind of grey".

Update on 1 August 2019: The Xiaomi Mi A3 is available now at all authorised Mi Stores and on the Xiaomi Certified Store on Lazada for S$349.
