Xiaomi announces local availability of the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12C
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12, and Redmi 12C phones will be available in Singapore from 15 April.

Xiaomi just announced the local availability and pricing of the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12, and Redmi 12C.
The Redmi Note 12 5G and Redmi Note 12 sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with support up to 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3, IP53 splash-proof rating, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Both phones also have a side fingerprint sensor with AI Face Unlock.
Aside from 5G connectivity, the cameras and processors are what set the two models apart. The Redmi Note 12 5G runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 while the Redmi Note 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685.
The Redmi Note 12 5G comes with a triple rear camera system (48MP f/1.8 main + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide + 2MP f/2.4 macro) and a 13MP f/2.45 selfie camera. The Redmi Note 12 has a triple rear camera system (50MP f/1.8 main + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide + 2MP f/2.4 macro) and a 13MP f/2.45 selfie camera.

Unlike its upper mid-range siblings which have Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile platforms, the mid-entry level Xiaomi Redmi 12C is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It also has a single rear camera (50MP f/1.8) and a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera. Other specs include a 6.71-inch HD+ DotDisplay and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

- Xiaomi Redmi 12C (4GB + 128GB) - S$179
- Xiaomi Redmi 12C (6GB + 128GB) - S$219
As part of the launch promotions, every purchase of the Redmi Note 12 5G or Note 12 will come with a free Redmi Buds 4 Lite (worth S$49), while stocks last.
