It looks like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra might arrive slightly earlier than expected. The device is currently undergoing sales and export certification approvals with various Chinese authorities.
As reported on GizmoChina and MySmartPrice, Xiaomi devices with certification numbers 25010PN30C, 25019PN30C, and 25019PNF3C have started appearing on various equipment certification authorities across China, such as the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) certification portal and the China Compulsory Certification (CCC, or 3C) portals.
These registration entries indicate that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will use 90W fast charging and satellite connectivity, both requiring approval in China. The registration numbers also hint at a January 2025 launch. However, its China-only certification indicates it’s not necessarily the same launch period for its global rollout (if there is even one).
Then Singapore, leh? Got? Or not?
A quick search on Singapore’s very own telecommunications equipment list (required for importing and selling connected devices in Singapore) reveals that the Xiaomi 15 series (serial number 2419PN74G) was registered in the first two weeks of November 2024.
A little bit of digging turns up the Xiaomi 15 certification listings on IMDA's Equipment Search portal. Screenshot: HWZ.
While there are no signs of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra (or any Xiaomi phone) registered between then and 19 December 2024, these database entries still indicate that the Xiaomi 15 devices will eventually find their way into Singapore.
More interesting, however, is that Xiaomi Electronics Pte. Ltd. registered the Xiaomi 15 phones here, and the brand’s usual distributor (under a different company name) did not submit the registration.
We believe that the change in distributors is related to Xiaomi’s newly created and operational self-managed physical store and brand-direct online shopping portal.
