Xiaomi 13 Series goes international, launches a new Lite model

Xiaomi announces the international availability of the Xiaomi 13 lineup including a new Lite model at MWC 2023. 

Unveiled two months ago for the Chinese market, the Xiaomi 13 Series will be heading to international markets from 8 March at the company's official retail channels.

Xiaomi also shared exclusive software perks for the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13. Both models will get three generations of Android system updates and five years of security patch updates.

For servicing, the two models enjoy one out-of-warranty repair without labour cost within the first 12 months after purchase. Users of both models can enjoy warranty service internationally at any designated Xiaomi authorised service provider.

The two models also enjoy 6 months of free trial for Google One cloud storage of up to 2TB, up to 6 months of YouTube Premium, and support for Android's digital car key feature.

The Xiaomi 13 lineup has a new member, the Xiaomi 13 Lite which is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and a 4,500mAh battery.

Other specs include dual front cameras (32MP + 8MP), a rear triple-lens system (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, 67W fast charging, 7.23mm thin chassis, and 5G.
