Xencelabs' first graphics tablet is a must-have for creative professionals

The Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium bundle.

Xencelabs, which is a new company based in Portland, Oregon, announced the local availability and pricing of its first graphics tablet.

Designed for creative professionals, the Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium sports a minimalist design with a 16:9 drawing area. At 8mm thin, it comes with a gently curved palm rest for optimal comfort and offers a natural drawing experience.

Unlike existing pen tablet options, the Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium is the only device in the market to be bundled with two battery-free pens of different diameters. The Xencelabs Thin Pen + Eraser has two customisable buttons and end point/eraser while the Xencelabs 3-button Pen + Eraser gives the user the ability to customise and use it with middle-click features for 3D and 2D work or switching between projects seamlessly. Both pens support 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition. For comparison's sake, the Samsung S Pen supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

There is also an optional accessory, the Quick Keys to Success remote controller. It has 5 sets of 8 keys which can be customised to provide up to a total of 40 shortcuts for each application. The Quick Keys to Success has a built-in OLED display to allow the user to visually see the set assignment of each key in portrait or landscape mode.

The Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium is available to purchase in two options:

  • S$459 Standard Pack: Pen Tablet Medium, the two battery-free pens, 10 extra nibs, the nib extractor, a USB-C adapter, a USB dongle and cable, a drawing glove, and a four-pocket carrying sleeve.

  • S$598 Bundle: Pen Tablet Medium, the two battery-free pens, 10 extra nibs, the nib extractor, a USB-C adapter, a USB dongle and cable, a drawing glove, a four-pocket carrying sleeve and the Quick Keys to Success remote controller.
