Xbox Music Comes to Android and iOS

Almost a year ago, Microsoft announced their Xbox Music service for their Xbox 360 console. It was also stated that after the launch of Windows 8, the service would be expanded over and brought to other platforms. Xbox Music's interface has recently had a redesign for Windows 8.1 and now it has also been made available for iOS and Android devices.

In addition, Xbox Music will also be offering free streaming to users who access the service via their web-browser. Xbox Music has also been integrated into Bing Smart Search for Windows 8.1, while user curated Radio features are also being worked on to be released later this year. The new additions to Xbox Music bring it much more in line with the music streaming and subscription model exhibited by services such as Spotify.
