X-mini’s new TWISX speaker looks like a water bottle; rocks like a large speaker

Looking more like a water bottle than a speaker, X-mini’s new TWISX speaker weighs just 383g and measures just 185 x 65 x 65 mm. It’s also IPX5 certified water-resistant, with a splash-proof design that means you can take it out to the pool, or even in a bit of rain.

The speaker uses a proprietary TWISX swivel nub for controls. Twist and hold the knob to skip tracks forward or back, or press down to pause or play music. Want to change the volume? Just twist the knob  left or right and you’re good.

Get a pair of TWISX speakers and you can get true stereo playback.

The TWISX speaker has a 12-watt triple driver system. Two 50mm active drivers are matched with a 50 x 120mm passive radiator driver for robust sound that you can easily affect by way of the preset EQ settings: Vocal and X.Bass. Designed to fit in most bicycle water bottle cages, the TWISX is designed to be use anywhere. Use it horizontally or vertically, and get a second one to use the two as a stereo pair. The TWISX speaker has a Wireless Stereo mode which places one channel with each speaker for true stereo sound, so you’ll get an even better listening experience.

Thanks to a large 5,200 mAh battery, you’ll get up to 12 hours of listening time from a full charge, more than enough for a full day out. The TWISX is expected to retail in Q3 2019 for a recommended retail price of S$81.90.
