Withings’ new fitness tracker boasts 20-day battery life and OLED screen
Withings just announced a new fitness tracker, the Pulse HR.
Positioned as the successor to the original Pulse, the Pulse HR comes with an OLED display which shows real-time workout data such as calories burnt and daily activity goal progress. Its multisport mode allows you to select from more than 30 activities so that you can track your training session as accurately as possible.
The Withings Pulse HR can also monitor heart rate and sleeping patterns. The Smart Wake-Up feature is essentially a silent vibrating alarm that will wake you up at the optimal time in the sleep cycle so that you can get your day off to the best possible start.
Other specs include a premium 316L stainless steel case, a reinforced polycarbonate surface coating, water resistance up to 50m, connected GPS and smartphone notifications. The Withings Pulse HR is stated to have a battery life of up to 20 days in normal use and up to 5 days in workout mode.
It is now available for pre-orders on Amazon and Withings’ website for US$129.95 with retail availability starting from 5 Dec.
