If you’re still on Windows 10 you may want to seriously think about moving to Windows 11.

In a blog post, Microsoft said that Windows 10 22H2 will be the final features update to the operating system. Microsoft has said however that they will continue to release monthly security updates for it until it reaches the end-of-support on Oct. 14, 2025.

With Windows 10 having been launched in July 2015, ten years is in line with previous versions of Windows. Windows 8.1 for example was released in October 2013 with its end of support in January this year.

With the end-of-support date announced for Windows 10, Microsoft will no doubt be encouraging users to upgrade to Windows 11, or 12 if they wait till the end.
