We might be able to get the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s in October

There's finally some good news about the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s that Apple fans ought to cheer about - the new iPhones are reportedly on schedule to be available in October!

According to the Economic Daily News (EDN), Apple will unveil the new iPhone models in September and sell them in October. Contrary to its earlier report of supply issues and technical issues, the latest supply chain checks suggest that component makers are ready to ramp up production in June.

EDN - TSMC will begin to fabricate the wafer starts needed for the production of A11 processes on June 10 and to deliver the chips in volume quantity in the second half of July, the report indicated.

Zhen Ding and Kinsus both have managed to improve the yield rates of SLP products, paving the way for volume production of the SLP materials in June, added the report.

Manufacturing partners Foxconn, Winstron and Pegatron are also said to be increasing the recruitment and training of new workers in China for the mass production of the iPhone.

Numerous publications and reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo have claimed that the launch of the iPhone 8 could be delayed this year. Japanese blog Macotakara believed Apple is still testing different prototypes and the testing stage is longer than expected. Kuo said that Apple is currently facing production issues of several key components while Nikkei Asian Review states that Samsung has difficulties delivering what Apple wants and other technical matters such as overheating issues in the wireless charging modules which will stall production of the new iPhone.
