Kylo Ren meets dinosaurs in sci-fi flick 65. Yes, you heard that right. Producer Sam Raimi has teamed up with Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the duo behind A Quiet Place, and it looks like an absolute banger.
Adam Driver stars as commander Mills, a pilot transporting 35 passengers on a long-range exploratory mission. Unfortunately, their ship is hit by an asteroid, and they crash land on an unknown planet.
Mills soon discovers that this planet is actually a very familiar one. While in search of new worlds, they're somehow stranded on Earth, 65 million years in the past.
With that comes everything you'd expect, including all manner of titanic beasts and a t-rex thrown in for good measure. Mills must fight to survive alongside Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), the only other survivor from their ship.
That premise is as thrilling as it is terrifying. Earth may be home, but it may as well be an alien world. After all, humans have no place on the planet 65 million years ago. Despite the breathable atmosphere and seemingly idyllic forests, everything else is trying to kill them in a hostile landscape.
This is Jurassic Park set in the future (or is it actually in the past?), and if The Quiet Place is anything to go by, you should expect some excellent creature scares.
