Wargaming, the creator behind the MMO World of Tanks, has announced that its naval-based World of Warships: Legends is now available for download on Android and iOS mobile devices. Already available on PC and consoles as a free-to-play title, this marks the first time the game is available on all major gaming platforms.
To celebrate the launch, Wargaming is kickstarting a series of in-game events including the Planet Clash, an event that will be packed with new content to attract seasoned and new players. Players will also have access to four Japanese cruisers that are in Early Access. Closer to the end of the year, the developer/publisher will also run a five-week campaign, with a Pan-European Premium battleship waiting for players at the end.

World of Warships: Legends for iOS and Android will also support crossplay and cross-progression for both Xbox and PlayStation, which is great news if you’ve already invested time (and money) on the game on those platforms. Wargaming also says that almost all ship types will be made available.
World of Warships: Legends on Mobile can be found on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
