Vivo Singapore just announced the availability of another Android smartphone in the local market. 

The Vivo Y81 smartphone comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ (1,520 x 720 pixels) FullView display that has reduced bezels. With a screen-to-body ratio of 88%, the Y81 smartphone gives you 15.5% more viewing area than the conventional 16:9 phones and easier one-handed operation. It is powered by an octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and a 3,260mAh battery.

Other specs include 32GB internal storage space with microSD support up to 256GB, a rear 13MP f/2.2 camera with portrait mode, a front-facing 5MP f/2.2 camera with AI Face beauty to detect th gender, age, skin tone, skin texture and lighting conditions, Face Access to unlock the phone, and a Game mode with a gaming keyboard and auto-blocking of calls and notifications.

Priced at S$239, the Y81 smartphone is available in black and gold from 15 September through M1 and authorized dealers such as Challenger, Gain City and Newstead Technologies. Customers who purchase the handset will receive a complimentary wireless earpiece.
