In addition to the new X50 series, Vivo has also announced a new set of true wireless earbuds called the Neo.

Packing a 4th-gen Qualcomm QCC3046 single-chip solution designed for TWS platforms, the Vivo Neo features customised large 14.2mm drivers and bio-fiber composite diaphragms to enhance audio clarity.

For those who play games or make a lot of video calls on their phone, Vivo is also touting an 88ms low latency mode. Other smarts include AI noise cancellation for clearer phone calls and touch controls for summoning a digital assistant.

The IP54-rated Neo uses Bluetooth 5.2 for a maximum working range of 10m and supports the aptX Adaptive codec. According to Vivo, each earbud has a maximum battery life of 5.5 hours, though this drops to about 4.2 hours when aptX Adaptive is used. The included USB-C charging case will extend the listening time up to a total of 27 hours.

Available in white and blue colours, the Vivo TWS Neo is priced at 499 Yuan in China, which is about S$100. International availability is yet to be confirmed.
