RGB lighting these days is all about gameplay immersion. If you can already install lights on your monitor and sync your peripherals and PC to what's happening in game, the next logical step is clearly to slap some lights onto your gaming chair too. Excessive? Maybe, but not according to Vertagear.

The Racing series P-line and 5 star base RGB upgrade kits will let you add customisable lighting to your Vertagear PL4500 gaming chair, where they're meant to be installed on the chair's headrest and base respectively. Of course, these will work wirelessly, so you don't have to worry about any cables tripping you up. The kits also support NZXT CAM software integration for easier control of colours and effects.

The coolest feature is probably the one that lets you sync the effects to in-game events. For example, the lights could change from green to red when you're low on health or start flashing when you detonate a bomb. In addition, they can react to your music for a more immersive experience.

You can charge the kits either by using the magnetic charging port or removing the rechargeable batteries to charge them externally.

On top of that, Vertagear has released the SL5000 chair in a Midnight Blue Special Edition model. This comes compatible with the RGB upgrade kits right out of the box.

With that said, you can buy all of that right now here. Here's an overview of the prices:
