Verbatim has just released a compact 100W GaN charger that’ll let you charge up to four devices simultaneously.
Available in white and black, the Verbatim 4 Port 100W GaN USB charger features two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports.
The two USB-C ports support USB PD whereas the two USB-A ports support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
The two USB-C ports, when used alone, can deliver a maximum of 100W. Apart from notebooks with high-end discrete graphics, that’s enough to power most notebooks.
The USB-A ports, when used alone, can deliver up to 18W of power.
This is impressive when you consider how small it is. Measuring 113.6 x 60 x 31.2mm, the Verbatim's charger is roughly the size of a deck of cards.
Crucially, it's smaller than the typical 65W chargers bundled with ultraportable-class notebooks.
Here’s a table detailing the power delivery depending on which ports are in use.
If all ports are used, the first USB-C port delivers 45W of power, the second gets 30W, and the two USB-A ports share 18W between themselves.
Availability and pricing
The Verbatim 4 Port 100W GaN USB charger is priced at S$109 and you can find it now on the Verbatim store on both Lazada and Shopee.
