Upcoming Honor 30 series rumoured to have impressive cameras too

In addition to the Honor 30S, Huawei-owned Honor is also expected to unveil a standard Honor 30 and an Honor 30 Pro handsets soon.

Let’s talk about the Honor 30S first. Other than the Kirin 820 5G chipset, it’s now said to feature a 64-megapixel camera (Sony IMX686?) with 3x optical zoom (via Digital Trends).

And on the Honor 30 and 30 Pro front, Slashleaks has posted a supposedly leaked training PowerPoint slide that shows that the series will use an unspecified 1/1.3-inch (yes, that's big) Sony IMX sensor with a 1.2μm pixel size. (Could this be the rumoured Sony IMX708?)

For comparison, the Samsung S20 Ultra’s 108MP Isocell Bright HM1 sensor has about the same size (1/1.33-inch) but a smaller 0.8μm per pixel size. Of course, it'd be remiss of me not to point out that the S20 Ultra does pixel-binning (with 9 pixels) to get an effective 2.4μm pixel size and brighter 12MP photos.
