New data gathered from the iOS 12 beta 5 suggests that Apple could introduce iPad-style landscape mode on the upcoming 6.5-inch iPhone model.

iHelp BR forced the iOS simulator tool to run at 2,688 x 1,242 pixels and found that some native apps have been adapted to support the iPad-style landscape mode. The iPad-style landscape mode can offer more information in some apps such as Mail, Calendar and Contacts with the extra screen real estate of the 6.5-inch iPhone model.

This feature was introduced on the iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8, but Apple did not bring this feature to the 5.8-inch iPhone X despite the model having a display that is diagonally bigger than the 5.5-inch Plus models. The latest version of iOS 12 beta also suggests that Apple may be bringing dual-SIM support to the new iPhones.
