It's UNIQLO!

It's their new range of commemorative t-shirts!

But most of all, it's a-me, Mario!

Indeed, the iconic Italian plumber has become one of, if not Nintendo's most recognisable mascots since his first appearance in 1985, rescuing princesses from spiked turtle monsters or racing on rainbow race tracks alongside the other quirky characters (repressed memories, ho!).

Anyway, in view of the current lockdowns, these spunky t-shirts will only be available through UNIQLO's online store, but it's not all bad, actually - each t-shirt costs about S$15 on average, and they're offering free shipping for online orders above S$60 too, so you can still grab a few sets (plus whatever clothes you need) for a bit less than usual.

Design-wise, they're like what you'd expect from UNIQLO - simple yet expressive. There's one that I quite like myself, sporting this timeline of Mario's evolution on the front. Ah...it certainly brings back memories of playing Super Mario 64 on my Nintendo DS. Good times.

Of course, there are clothes for the kids too. Check out this black t-shirt featuring multi-coloured silhouettes of Mario and Yoshi - it's pretty cute and costs only S$12.90.

If it's any consolation, having a lockdown doesn't mean you can't look good at home. UNIQLO clothes are multipurpose and can be worn almost anywhere - they're pretty universal as far as appropriateness goes.

Anyway, while we're sourcing for a red plumber's hat and white gloves, why not glance over the full range on the official UNIQLO page?
