In the latest phase of its lifestyle-centric ACTIVE. YOUR WAY. campaign, UNIQLO is delving further into the gaming sphere by organising a trio of in-store Gear Up with UNIQLO: Esports and Fitness events at its flagship outlet at Orchard Central.

The hour-long events, which will take place from 3-4 pm on 25 Apr, 1 May and 2 May, will feature talks, quizzes and 5v5 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang showmatches, the latter of which will be hosted by soccer player Cheryl Allison and radio personality Joakim Gomez.

Fortunately (or unfortunately), you won't have to make the trip down to the store in person. In keeping with current social distancing guidelines, the event will be livestreamed via Instagram Live on @uniqlosg, and everyone is welcome to tune in for it. In fact, you've actually got a great incentive to do so, since the organisers will also be giving away a bunch of $50 UNIQLO gift cards to some lucky viewers.

The event will also see Mr. Gomez and Ms. Allison donning UNIQLO's all-new line of Sport Utility Wear, which is well-suited to both indoor esports battles and fitness activities out in the sun. Returning to the tournament, all ML: BB players are welcome to register for it.

With regard to prizes, the winners of the show match will receive a tidy $100 UNIQLO gift card each, with the MVP of the team receiving two cards. All other players will receive a $30 gift card for participating, so everyone leaves with a little something in hand. Speaking of which, you might want to hurry over to the official site to sign up - the registration window closes at 11.59 pm on Friday, 23 Apr.
