Twitter just announced that users can upload and view 4K images on Android and iOS.

The company started testing the feature last month with a select group of users, and it is now available for everyone. The web app already supports higher-resolution photo uploads at up to 4,096 x 4,096 resolution. Previously, the mobile apps only allowed photos up to a maximum resolution of 2,048 x 2,048.

The feature has to enabled via Settings > Data Usage > High-Quality image uploads. Users can choose to upload 4K photos on cellular and Wi-Fi, or only on Wi-Fi.
