Transformers: Rise of the Beasts to make world premiere at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore
The next installment in the Transformers series, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, is slated to make its world premiere at Marina Bay Sands on Saturday, May 27. Singapore audiences will be the first to celebrate the return of the blockbuster franchise with the filmmakers and cast before it launches worldwide.
Director Steven Caple Jr. will join Transformers showrunners and producers Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian at a public fan event under the stars, walking the red carpet alongside cast members Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Tobe Nwigwe.
The premiere comes after the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Statues World Tour at Gardens by the Bay earlier this year. The life-sized figures of Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal made their first Asian appearance, impressing local audiences.
Until May 21, Transformers fans can submit fan art based on the theme "Autobots, Maximals, Roll Out" for a chance to win special access tickets to the red carpet and premiere. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, featuring the live-action debut of the Maximals, a new faction of Transformers, will launch on June 8. In anticipation, a cast greeting will be posted on the UIP Singapore and Marina Bay Sands social media pages on May 8 at 5:30pm.
