The Deco Voice X20 is TP-Link's latest mesh networking system. It's a dual-band system that's capable of delivering speeds of up to 574Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,200Mbps on its 5GHz network. TP-Link claims two nodes can offer Wi-Fi coverage up to an area of 4,000 sq. ft.

Though the speeds are quite basic, owners of older TP-Link mesh networking systems will be happy to know that the Deco Voice X20 can work with other Deco systems to expand coverage.

The key feature, however, is built-in Alexa, which means owners can save on getting a standalone Alexa speaker. Each node features a quadruple mic array for voice pickup and a 5W full-frequency driver that can be used to play music, read messages, and more.

Each node has two Gigabit Ethernet auto-sensing LAN/WAN ports. (Image source: TP-Link)

The Deco Voice X20 also features HomeShield, which is a suite of privacy and security features that includes parental controls, security reports, and built-in antivirus capabilities that filter malicious content and safeguard connected IoT devices.

As for wired connectivity, each node features two auto-sensing WAN/LAN Gigabit Ethernet ports.

Availability and pricing

The TP-Link Devo Voice X20 is available now exclusively at Challenger and is available at a special promo price of S$299. The usual price is S$339.
