Toshiba Increases Viewing Angle for Glasses-Free 3D Display

The tech industry is definitely not done with 3D displays, as evident with Toshiba's foray into such technology, without the use of stereoscopic glasses. Earlier on, the Japanese company showcased a display capable of 3D imagery, without the use of 3D glasses. The only downside is, its field of vision is quite narrow. Following up, it has revealed a new display which uses a six-axis accelerometer to increase the viewing angle to 90 degrees.

What are the implications of Toshiba's new 3D display? Mobile phones capable of 3D display, and the freedom to view it without looking straight into the phone is one of the most basic premise we can think of, but knowing how the industry works, we can expect more innovative ideas coming up.
