These are the potential pre-order and launch dates for the Apple iPhone 13
Chinese e-commerce site IT Home and tipster Jon Prosser seem to have the confirmed pre-order and launch dates for the Apple iPhone 13.
According to both sources, pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 13 are believed to start on 17 September, Friday with retail availability a week later on 24 September. In addition, the AirPods 3 are expected to launch on 30 September, Thursday. The dates line up with Wedbush analyst Dan Ives' prediction.
Based on Apple's past event schedules, it is likely that the Apple event will happen on 14 September, Tuesday. Media invites to the virtual event should be sent out a week earlier on 7 September.
Apple is reportedly very optimistic on the sales of the iPhone 13. Bloomberg claims that Apple has instructed suppliers to build up to 90 million units by the end of the year. The iPhone 13 may not launch with a highly sought-after feature, in-screen Touch ID as the company's long term goal is to "implement Face ID in the display itself".
