Thermaltake's The Tower 100 mini chassis now comes in a bright, metallic gold
Thermaltake has announced The Tower 100 Metallic Gold Mini Chassis, a striking version of the original The Tower 100 mini-ITX case. It's part of Thermaltake's multi-coloured series of products, joining a lineup comprising Black, Snow, Turquoise, and Racing Green editions. If bling is your style, Thermaltake has its ToughRam RGB Metallic Gold modules for you to build a matching system.
The Tower 100 is a vertical chassis built to accommodate high-end components and even an ATX power supply. It features a rather unique configuration, with the motherboard sitting on the back wall of the case and the GPU mounted vertically with the rear I/O at the top of the case. You'll have room for graphics cards up to 330mm long and CPU coolers up to 190mm tall. Three tempered glass panels ensure you get a clear view of all your hardware.
The case ships with two pre-installed 120mm fans on top and at the rear, but there's room for an extra 120mm or 140mm fan on the top of the PSU cover and a 120mm AIO CPU cooler can be fitted on the top for basic liquid cooling.
The vertical design is supposed to help with cooling as well, with a chimney-like shape designed to intake air from the bottom and exhaust it at the top. Removal magnetic filters on the back, side panels, and base help keep dust out.
The Tower 100 Metallic Gold Mini Chassis is expected to be available to buy in Q4 2021.
