Thermaltake has announced the View 71 TG Edition, a full-tower chassis with tempered glass panels on all four sides. This means that every detail of the case’s innards is on display for all to see, so your cable management had better be top notch.

The chassis comes with two 140mm Riing Blue LED fans installed in the front, but there’s also additional room for a third 140mm fan. There’s a 140mm exhaust fan built into the rear as well, and room for two further 120mm fans at the bottom. One nice touch is the sectional mounts at the top, which sound like they can be added or removed to make way for more fans and manage air flow.

However, air cooling options aside, this is also a Tt LCS-certified case, so it was really built to accommodate custom liquid cooling loops – such as 420mm radiators – for more extravagant setups.

In order to simplify the installation process, Thermaltake has gone with a modular design with drive cages that can removed to make way for longer graphics cards or liquid cooling pumps and reservoirs. These drive racks can hold up to three drives, but there are also four further drive bays on the back of the motherboard panel that allow for tool-free installation and a cleaner look.

To keep the dust out, there are magnetic filters on the top and front, and a slide-out dust filter at the bottom, all of which can be easily removed for cleaning.
