Thermaltake has announced the TOUGHRAM Z-One, its new budget-friendly memory series available in both 3,200MHz and 3,600MHz variants.

The TOUGHRAM Z-One memory modules have a minimalist, industrial feel to them, featuring gunmetal grey aluminum heat spreaders and clean lines. In order to deliver better stability and response times, Thermaltake says it uses tightly-screened ICs that can achieve higher overclocks. The memory modules are also compatible with Intel XMP 2.0, so you can overclock them in just a few steps.

There's no RGB lighting to be seen here though, but that's not really surprising considering that Thermaltake wanted to keep the TOUGHRAM Z-One affordable.

Finally, they will work with Thermaltake's TOUGHRAM software, which lets you monitor things like real-time temperature and frequency.

The memory modules are backed by a limited lifetime warranty and will cost US$99 for the 8GB x 2 3,600MHz kit and US$94 for the 3,200MHz kit in the same configuration.
